42 days left until utter humiliation for the Xbo....

TheHater5723d ago

42 days more until I get my hands on this game. I cannot wait to play game with my friends and family.

Liquid Dust5723d ago

That manual is quite a read, so much to do in that game, after watching the ex gamestop employees rants i think im gonna go preorder this gem at best buy perhaps. Im pretty friggen excited

PlayStation3605723d ago

instead, pre-order from GS to get the Kratos costume (they give you the voucher up front). Return later and cancel/transfer the order. Then, pre-order/buy the game from Best Buy. You'll get 2 dope costumes (Kratos/Nariko) that way. :P

BigKev455723d ago

Please Chris. We have Gears 2 this year don't start.

Soren the Cat5723d ago (Edited 5723d ago )

Chris Hanson, that type of comment is perfect for the Open Zone, you'll find it right next door, you can't miss it.

In other news, I cannot wait for this game, both in terms of the game itself and the way in which it will stretch the limits of what home consoles can do in terms of user-generated content.

Milky Joe5723d ago

Damn it Media Molecule, go back in time and start development 42 days earlier!!! And Sony, bring the EU release date forward to the same time as the US!!!

Figboy5723d ago

humiliate the Xbox 360.

now, 3billion dollars in extended warranty costs due to faulty, rushed hardware, and losing first place to a repackaged Gamecube...i think that's humiliating enough.

LBP will be a fantastic game, but it doesn't have to humiliate anything. it just needs to be in my Playstation 3 as soon as possible. preferably, right NOW.

You couldn't pay me to buy this flop.

82 metacritc confirmed!

lol

thor5723d ago

metacritic is a great score. If I made a game and it got 82 on metacritic I'd be well chuffed. Anyway it will be higher than that.

Mr_Bun5723d ago (Edited 5723d ago )

Why would would we want you on our PSN? We prefer intelligent people, unlike yourself.

SI7VER5723d ago (Edited 5723d ago )

My definition of the word Flop, is a game with bad ratings/ reviews and bad sales.

So if you think LBP is going to be a "Flop" why don't you go play Too Human. Oh wait a minute...that game was a Flop as said by IGN and Gamespot LOL.

You sir, FAILED!

Crab

Normally I agree a lot on your comments, but come on.

Even I admit that LBP looks like a straight hit. There ain't much else that interests me about the PS3, but this game seems to become just that one killer app on the PS3. Yes you heard me say it. I don't think Resistance 2 will be a killer app. I do think LBP is.

And its for a wide public, plus it uses the user created content in combination with the free PSN network very well as far as I've seen. I don't like PSN for the rest I think forced gamerpoints from launch, cross game invites, chat etc all is working better on XBL, but for this user created content and LBP PSN seems just right.

Sir_Ken_Kutaragi5723d ago

'Astroglide'!!! ;-D Sounds like a Space Invader sort of game!!! ;-D

LBP WILL KILL EVERYTHING IN ITS WAY!!! ;-P

Even 'Edge' Mag will give it 10/10!!!(Did i just type that!!!) ;-D

dukadork5723d ago

Space invaders up his giant crab's @ss better use Astroglide, for sure

ROFLMAO!!!!

Microsoft once tried to nab LittleBigPlanet from Sony after a few drinks

It turns out that many moons ago, Microsoft once had its eye on the Sony published LittleBigPlanet series.

Microsoft had a good idea but fumbled it again.

Cacabunga10h ago(Edited 10h ago)

Project Spark idea was decent but they quickly gave up ..
LBP was wonderful

ApocalypseShadow1d 5h ago

Microsoft in a nutshell. Always tried to poach Sony employees, games, 3rd party games and devices like the depth camera that was turned into Kinect but was running on PS2 before Xbox 360. Wouldn't be surprised they wanted LBP. Just like they worked behind the scenes pushing the MLB to bring Sony's baseball game to Xbox instead of making their own.
https://www.playstationlife...

They didn't spend years trying to develop their own baseball game. They wanted Sony's game.

They're scum.

Zachmo1829h ago

Microsoft didn't force MLB on Xbox. MLB gave Sony 2 options either go multiplat or risk losing the license.

Rynxie9m ago

And why do you think MLB said that? I believe Ms approached MLB.

OtterX12h ago

"However, Healey said Media Molecule wouldn't have felt right doing that, adding it would have been "morally corrupt"."

Major kudos to Media Molecule for being an upright studio with principles.

Tody_za12h ago(Edited 12h ago)

Great, more stories like this please. Show the last of the zombies holding the line what we've been saying for years: Microsoft is anti competition, anti industry and has no interest in making games at all.

But hey, at least there's an Xbox Games Showcase to look forward to, right?

Inverno11h ago

Well considering SONY just killed the series, LBP would've been dead by now either way. Though MM probably wouldn't exist by now either, so I'm glad they stayed with SONY, hopefully they don't get shut down any time soon or ever honestly.

Inverno9h ago

They shut down the servers, that's millions of user created levels gone. That and dead are pretty much the same, it's also been years since 3 and they cancelled HUB soooo.
