LBP will be a fantastic game, but it doesn't have to humiliate anything. it just needs to be in my Playstation 3 as soon as possible. preferably, right NOW.

Normally I agree a lot on your comments, but come on.

Even I admit that LBP looks like a straight hit. There ain't much else that interests me about the PS3, but this game seems to become just that one killer app on the PS3. Yes you heard me say it. I don't think Resistance 2 will be a killer app. I do think LBP is.

And its for a wide public, plus it uses the user created content in combination with the free PSN network very well as far as I've seen. I don't like PSN for the rest I think forced gamerpoints from launch, cross game invites, chat etc all is working better on XBL, but for this user created content and LBP PSN seems just right.

This shows some nice community features that I haven't heard of before, such as staying in groups and following specific players into other levels.

I will also probably be using the quick play option a lot to jump into random levels with other players.

That doesn't make any sense to me. Is that a European thing, or am I just missing something? Kind of sounds like a grandmother from a random movie, maybe that's what they were going for.

"Bolts come in useful.." - could be worded a lot better.

"Pistons are just like rods but can remain rigid and be put into motion if required" - missing "can" and probably a comma.

Also, "Happy Gadders" is a weird name for other players, but I'll go with it.

I only scanned it quick, but I hope there aren't many more errors. I can't wait for this game to come out.

the pg 23 error is fine. extra "can" would be redundant. and i'll bet they got the english manual done by someone in europe. so yeah. maybe that's why the sentences were written that way.

Well if you knew me, you know I have owned about all gaming systems out there.

Just because I think something about the PS3, about SOny's choices, doesn't mean a company can make a great game for it.

I own two PSP's, a fat and a slim and like it because of the homebrew. Not because of Sony, because they facked up pretty much a lot by choices again.

Thus: yes. I think only one PS3 exclusive now on or over 9 out of 10 average (MGS4) after allmost 2 years is pretty much sad. LBP will become the next one. The first one that interests me personally. I always disliked the MGS gameplay but hey whatever one likes.

Little Big Planet seems to become the Youtube from consolegaming. That doesn't mean that there won't be a kind of game like this on the 360, but for this kind of user created and uploaded content the open PSN network fits better I guess.

I still think as a complete gaming machine the PS3 still sucks compared to the 360, that hasn't changed for sure HAH!

the ps3 is for hardcore gamers.

not everybody wants to play online.

personally i love games like God of War, Tekken, Wipeout, Fahrenheit, Shadow of the Colossus, ICO, Metal Gear Solid ... i won't find these kind of games on the 360.
