Nintendo’s president Reggie Fils-Aimé is promising change for the company’s next console, or is he?
Embracer CEO demonstrates a masterclass in mental gymnastics in latest interview.
"I'm sure I deserve a lot of criticism, but I don't think my team or companies deserve all the criticism. I could take a lot of that blame myself. But ultimately I need to believe in the mission," he said.
OK give us Kingdoms of Amalur 2 with AAA budget and we will accept your excuse
CGM Writes: While we were over at PAX East, we were able to sit down with Goichi Suda (Suda51) and talk about the upcoming remaster of Shadows of the Damned

Turned based Phantasy Star and Shinning Force remain at the top of my list of Sega IPs that need to return. At the very least I'd take a Shining Force collection that has 1,2,3, CD and the Game Gear entries.
I don't trust Sega to do a proper comeback. The games will be just remastered and/or monetized to death.
I reckon it will be announced after all the big games. So maybe late Nov early Dec. The Neo has Sep, and Oct has too much interesting stuff. And Nov has the new Pokemon on 3DS.
I hate his interviews, he always seems to come off as arrogant.
Reggie fails at everything. I don't understand why people like him so much, besides saying "HI GAIS IM REGI AND I KICK ASS OK" eons ago.
Okay?
Nintendo will never change... They enjoy focusing on children and adults who think Pokemon is still cool... Always have always will... That's why current Nintendo is weak. They always will be until they start going after the core gamer
I think that what he said in the interview makes sense in that you can't honestly expect him to say, "Yeah we REALLY dropped the ball with WiiU, etc, etc," when a ton of people (myself included) really enjoy the system for all of its strengths. It's still too soon. That said, let's say the NX is a massive success and a few years down the road it's showing Wii/DS numbers in regards to sales-- then yeah, maybe when interviewed about the WiiU in hindsight he'll be a little bit more open about everything that went wrong with the sales/marketing/production of the WiiU. It's just still too soon for him to start slamming it now, if he ever will at all.
