Gran Turismo Sport Creator: “It’s Really Important to Know the Real Thing;” Watch Him in Action

Gran Turismo Sport Producer Kazunori Yamauchi is currently working hard on the game, but he is not new to the real racing scene. Back in may, he raced at the grueling Nürburgring 24h endurance race in Germany, placing 22nd on the #101 Walkenhorst Motorsport BMW M6 GT3 sponsored by PlayStation.

Today, Sony Interactive Entertainment released a featurette on the race, showing Yamauchi-san in action, and also giving him a chance to explain how this helps him while creating his game.

So it looks like they have abandoned unreal for future iterations of the game and are sticking with ego. So that means no decent VR support on PC and none on console seeing as the ego can't handle it properly. I think I'm done with this franchise it's turned into fifa with a hefty price tag and no innovation from one year to the next. Time for someone else to have a go at this licence
