Over the years, games based on popular Marvel properties have traditionally been hit and miss. For every Spider-Man 2 there’s been an Iron Man or Incredible Hulk waiting just around the corner. One series that bucked that trend was Marvel Ultimate Alliance and today it's back.
Activision and Raven Software's 2006 action role-playing game, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, has found its way to the Xbox Store.
Used to love this one, but X-Men Legends 1 and 2 will always be my favorites, especially Rise of Apocalypse. Would pay some good money to play it today with online multiplayer, back then I had no way to get a modem
I remember buying them dirt cheap on the PS4 and then a few days later I read they were delisted. I was wondering why the bundle was price so low and got my answer when that happened.
Sad to say this is one game franchise next to the Xmen that needs a sequel. I use to play the hell out of Xmen Legends and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Was great when my cousin had the OG Xbox play with four other people and then playing online. Great games glad to see it reappear even though I own the discs love the mechanics of this game.
Misleading. This page is whats available for people who owned the game prior to delisting.
Remember the days of four-player couch co-op? The Wealth of Geeks team certainly does. This list brings us back to the golden years of the original Xbox with the best four-player games that were available.
The console's library of games may be big, but it can all be played on the same couch. Here is a list of the best Co-Op games on the PS2.
It will be half price in no time. Which is when the vultures will swoop.
I'm guessing PS4 isn't gonna get Marvel Super Heroes anytime soon, or the price point on these games wouldn't be nearly as high.
The Steam page is full of negative reviews citing various issues with the PC ports, and apparently Ultimate Alliance 1 doesn't have the DLC characters. I don't even think it's a remaster either. It's a straight up port from the PS3/Xbox 360 versions.
Have you LOOKED at the prices for the PS3/360 versions. $77 for UA2 ONLY and $80 for the first but you are calling 40 bucks for a remastered version plus ALL DLC pricey and a $20 discount if you buy them both together? You sir are insane if you think better versions at a much cheaper price is "rather pricey".
Here you have it ladies and gentlemen, I present to you this current generation of gaming! Man, so this is what we get: 1080p with minor interface changes AND framerate issues with no DLC characters. These are $40 a pop or $60 combo'd.
Who the !$&@ asked for these!? Activision is really digging deep into the doo doo dumpster with these "remasters"! I'm so glad they gave us Prototype Definitive Edition and Dead Pool a...just Dead Pool on PS4 edition. Yknow the games that we really needed for this generation at an extremely reasonable price.
Good gawwwwwd please don't let this continue on next-gen. I might as well as quit buying games now and wait for the 4K versions on next-gen...the HD squared editions all upscaled in 4K barely and with no DLC and performance issues and at full price! What a deal!
