Is anything developed directly by Capcom anymore?

_-EDMIX-_2832d ago

Most remasters or ports of games are actually not developed internally by companies , naughty dog did not develop the Uncharted collection for example.

I already know why i was just telling the other guy cause he ask did we need these remasters

CrimsonWing692832d ago

Did these really need an HD remaster...?

Gman322832d ago

Nope its just a money thing this is a big reason why so many xbox360 tripleA games dont come to xbox one backwards compatibility

_-EDMIX-_2832d ago

You thought there was another reason behind game development? Ummmm ok

Are the only Capcom games developed internally the main Resident Evil games and Street Fighter? This is the main reason why Capcom is in the position they're in financially. They keep outsourcing development (which I assume is costly compared to developing internally), and their externally developed games barely sell that well or are disappointing i.e. Lost Planet 3. Also stupid business practices... etc. etc,. I don't understand why they won't do the remasters themselves. They spent all that time and money developing the Panta Rei engine and only one friggin game uses it (that unreleased mmo type game they're supposedly still developing). Also, still no damn Mega Man game after how many years and how much demand? Stupid decisions after stupid decisions.

I played the first, and I bought #4. Other than that, strangely haven't played any of the others. I'll get round to it one day though I guess.
