GamerBytes writes: "The official list of games that will be available at the Tokyo Game Show has been released, with a nice surprise - King Of Fighters '98 - Ultimate Match is coming to the Xbox Live Arcade.
The Ultimate Match suffix has been used previously from the recentiy released PS2 version of the game, which added several new characters to the classic '98 game.
Look towards Tokyo Game Show on October the 9th."
Nintendo Life: For many 2D fighting game fans, The King of Fighters '98 represents the zenith of the series; the crowning glory of the only rival lineage to truly bloody the nose of Capcom’s genre-defining Street Fighter.
It’s not hard to see why this is the case; the game looks stunning, has a massive roster of characters and boasts one of the most balanced fighting engines in any game of this type. It also controls like a dream and features an excellent soundtrack.

Part Four will bring us right up to date with the King of Fighters storyline just in time for the UK release of King of Fighters XII. You know the drill right now; sit back, get comfortable and enjoy the final part of the story, so far."
BeefJack writes: "Welcome to part three of the King Of Fighters Retrospective: A look back at the story of KOF that will bring us up to date with the series to coincide with the release of King Of Fighters XII on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on August 28 in the USA and September 4th in Europe.
We've so far covered the many tournaments in the early titles and seen many changes to the format of the tournaments. There have also been a handful of villains wanting power, fame and success but thus far none have been successful. By this time in the story both Kyo and Iori had become essentially King Of Fighter's own Ryu and Ken. However that wasn't to last as a new warrior by the name of K' was about to take centre stage."
That's kind of great. I would prefer something like that on the PS Store and because of the DS3 d-pad, but it's still great. KOF was still great in 1998.
Damn, another classic...Keep em coming.
But five new fallout 3 hd videos just went on xbox market place....massive woot!
yes, yes , yes !
this will be my best xbl arcade game so far.. if i had known i would not have got bionic commando, don't get me wrong thats a good game too, but i would have saved the points for this.
anyway, good stuff. give us more games like this.
However, I think I'll just wait for a hopeful release of the new KOF game sometime in the near future.
