Furi Review – Bossed It | Power Up Gaming

Furi is the kind of game that will live and die by its initial impressions. By the time you have finished the tutorial boss in the opening moments, you will already have the majority of the information you require to formulate your opinion of the game. You’ll have seen the art style, you’ll have seen the ebbs and flows of combat, and you’ll have seen the majority of your moveset. If you find yourself initially turned off, Furi will not do much else to tantalise you further. On the other hand, if Furi immediately clicks with you, prepare to dive deep into it as the game doubles down on its stylishly intense combat.

Furi Contains The Single Most Energetic Soundtrack Ever Conceived In Gaming

Out of hundreds of hype-inducing music, Furi absolutely destroys the competition with one of the best soundtracks in gaming.

I honestly love Doom's soundtrack as well, but Furi has a way of captivating me wayyyyy more with its music.

The boss fights, the art design and the soundtrack in Furi are amazing. It's one of my favourite games from last gen (has a PS5 version too). "Underrated" is thrown around a lot but this game is definitely underrated.

It’s the reason I bought the game. The game itself is good too. But the soundtrack is superb.

So is Hotline Miami’s.

After coming to and end with Returnal I'm looking to get back into this.
In Japan they want 100 Yen to upgrade (?) from PS4 to PS5 version. Has anyone here played the PS5 version?

BlackDoomAx736d ago

Not yet, but I added it for free to my library.

In Japan the upgrade costs 100 Yen. Not a lot of money but I wonder if it is worth it. Also bugs me that Japan has to pay for these. Subnautica and Crash Bandicoot 4 are the same.
