Bethesda announces 'TESO Gold Edition'

Coming out this September from Bethesda is The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition, the next version of the company's popular MMO.

Level 4 is barely out of the tutorial, so it sounds like you're missing the whole game.

Just a quick plug but usually FFXV is on sale and if you want an mmo with actual compelling content that bolsters itself from challenge based team work then I'd suggest it. It's very time consuming but I think the rewards end game are worth it.

I found it distracting in its ugliness, and this is coming from someone who plays EQ2 on PC. It also seems clunky? Stiff. Weird. I do have FFXV for PC and PS4, and its really fun to play. But their whole account setup thing confused me into rage for the last time so I'm over that too. The last MMO I really enjoyed was Warhammer.

@solidgear3 lol at your disagrees. I'm the same, haven't needed a PC for the same reason in the past 6 years. Just use a notebook to type word documents, wireless printer and done. PC gamings a bit of a waste of money if you're dropping over a thousand just to game if you ask me.

MEH, elder scrolls was always about single player adventure experience. Not some dumb MMO game. I have predicted this would be the case having negative reviews from gamers which is a good thing i think because this gives a message to bethesda. Single Player is what games should be. Multiplayer just a bonus for replayability

Absolutely not. a single player should only be emphasized if that the developer is intending for the game to actually be single player developers don't just make games just for the sake of actually making games there is a concept behind why they're doing this..

Huh say whatever you guys want. I also play multiplayer. But the games industry is built on single player in the past. From atari to ps4, mario, zelda, donkey kong, pacman, final fantasy series, resident evil, metal gear, halo, gears of war, uncharted, dragon age, mass effect, witcher, god of war so on. Multiplayer based games are not forever, metal gear 4 online servers are no more, mass effect 3 multiplayer i played the other day i cant find people who still play the multiplayer, resistance 1 and 2 multiplayer no more, demon souls coop no more servers etc. Bottomline after 10 years games like destiny, the division, titanfall servers will be no more to give way to new games. If you play multiplayer games exactly why are you saying Games should be single player? Games should be whatever their developers intended them to be.

Mind you what you're actually arguing for in your next post is about servers having some sort of Legacy you're not actually arguing about single player or multiple player concept.

Could we not have Legacy servers that protect those multiplayer games in the future and still keep multiplayer and single-player as separate entities? Lol

My question to Bethesda; what incentives would you give to those paying for the sub if the Gold Edition is a cheaper alternative in the long run? I know people will argue the perks of the sub, however outside pets and maybe a few upgrades there's really no reason to have it with this releasing soon.
