Always short of a few bob, each week I scour the internet for fun, interesting or just plain intriguing Indie Freebies. This week’s highlighted titles are: Notes of Obsession, a first-person horror game set in a modern Swedish house; Xenotep, a short but pretty puzzle-adventure game set on an alien planet; and Without Room: An Arena FPS, a single-player shooter with a heavy nod and wink to Doom and Quake.
The move away from written coverage of games is a problem for journalists and for the games industry.
What we need is a more honest games media. I'm sorry but if you're an outlet in bed with a publisher or getting goodies to attend preview/ review events then you can't be trusted to be objective. Very similar to the need for getting money out of politics.
Mark Rubin, XDefiant’s executive producer, responded to an X/Twitter post that fixes to hit reg “are something [they] are working on.” Unfortunately, it’s unclear when it will arrive, as neither Rubin nor the development team have yet to provide an actual time frame.
Ha man what is this the 8th time they are working on this issue?
SO the game is using division one maps/assets with some divison 2 thrown in with that we can say they never really made the maps so what have they been doing for there 6 to perhaps 8 years of dev time? must be alot of hookers/blow/parties.

It's astounding how much money they blow and this is the results. Gaming development is out of control.
