Halo SPV3 is a total overhaul of the Halo 1 campaign for the PC that has just been released. This mod comes with new weapons, enemies, vehicles, areas to explore and levels, as well as easter eggs and skulls which add new twists onto the gameplay.
DSOGaming writes: "Halo and Mario Kart fans, here is something really special for you today. InfernoPlus has released a new custom mode for the first Halo game. As the title suggests, this mode bring together Halo and Mario Kart."
GamersNexus: "In the ongoing quest to keep you aware of what to do with GameSpy shutting down, we bring you this great news from the creators of Halo. Bungie announced on the 15th that they have a fix in-place for Halo PC and Halo Community Edition."
Ok, I always like Halo and the series in general, so this Custom edition should thrive for all the Halo Fans on PC!
OXCGN:
"Here we are, over eight years since the release of the PC version, and Halo: Anniversary blows us away with 343′s bold re-imagining of Halo: Combat Evolved.
But we’re not talking about Anniversary. We’re talking about CMT SPv3, a fresh mod for Custom Edition that not only brings it up to par with some of the more recent releases (3, ODST, Reach), but adds content from nearly all of the games in the franchise.
If there were ever justification needed to go back to Halo, simply take a gander at these gorgeous screenshots, and you’ll be convinced before we ever begin talking about it."
I know what I'm doing for the rest of this weekend!
Now I'll never get those last two Library achievements in Anniversary...
i actually hope halo 4 gives us the ability to mod like this on the xbox. i know modding isnt generally on consoles but halo 1 made console fps' popular maybe halo 4 can make modding popular on consoles.
maybe I'll try it out
So much time lost in CE...huge@ss, Runway...so much fun,
Just watched the release trailer and i must play this.
God, I remember playing this game a few years ago, had a BLAST. One of my first real experiences with PC gaming. I will most definitely pick it up again.
