Umbrella Corps Review | GodisaGeek

Chris White: "Umbrella Corps is a weak shooter that seems far too rushed and empty for any real fun to be had with it."

This review lacks any credibility when right at the top it says Umbrella Corps is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The game hasn't released for X1. Just makes you not want to read any more, though I did. Rushed review with what seems to be blurbs taken from every other review, practically verbatim. Doesn't negate that the score may or may not deserve a low score from some, but the reviewer has work to do at his job lol

Yea look, I'll be honest, it's not the worst game I've ever played. Nothing about it is elevated from its competition and it doesn't have enough content to really make it worth investing a lot of time. That being said, it's an ok distraction. I think if it were free-to-play it might've attracted a bigger audience and they'd probably warm-up to it a bit more. Unfortunately, for $30 it's a really hard sell.

As for the review, a 3.5/10!? Yea that's just someone following the heard, It's at the very least a 5 and the most a 6 out of 10. It boils down to perceived value at that point, for me I can't find a lot of content worth the value so I'd give it a 5, I've had connection issues, graphically it's budget looking, animations are odd, some of it feels unbalanced like a dude running at me for a 1-hit kill melee attack even when I unload into him...minor issues that objectively keep it from going into the 7 score area. Again, it's not horrible, but it's not a good game either.

Top 10 Bad Games by Good Studios

Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "When shopping for new video games you can often trust the name publisher or developer on the box to be an indication of the quality of the game. Names like Nintendo, Square Enix, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Capcom, Xbox Game Studios and Sega are world famous because they helped shape the industry by releasing some of the most defining video games of all time. Though sometimes even these great gaming houses stumble and put out a stinker."

Splatterhouse remake . Loved the og’s at the arcade growing up . Hell the best thing about the remake was the og,s were included . And left alive by Square . That game had so much potential , but the gameplay was worse horrendous .

once Great studios getting destroyed is actually common. happened with ND and Last of Us2, Bioware and Mass Effect Andromeda/Anthem, Bungle and Destiny .

Fuse should have been on that list (Insomniac Games)

I personally don't like these games.

I'm pretty much certain that any Sonic game that comes out will be terrible, I've not enjoyed one since the original side-scrolling days of the MegaDrive.

Then you might like a recent sonic "sonic mania".

jaymacx1404d ago

For this Topic it says Good Studios that make bad games. Sonic Team hasn't been good in years.

I highly enjoyed Operation Racoon City.

Definitely nothing wrong with that. Always good to hear when someone enjoys something!

I tried to enjoy it, but couldn't get past its flaws.

It could have been a lot better, but Marcus Kane approves of this comment.
