NWR: King of Clubs Review

It fails in pretty much every respect. The controls are awful, the courses stupid, and the mechanics sketchy. Simply put, this game should not be played by anyone, and it should have never been released.

IGN: King of Clubs Mini-Golf Review

Sometime, in the future, before the end of the Wii's life cycle, some enterprising developer is going to get miniature golf on the system to feel just right -- but it hasn't happened yet, and it didn't happen here. King of Clubs tried to set itself apart with a nonsensical storyline and characters, but their appeal falls flat. The game's control scheme, with its arbitrary motion control included in place of what would have worked better as standard button presses, also assures that few players will have fun here. But be patient, mini-golf fans. Someone will get it right eventually.

Gameplay: 4.0
King of Clubs is technically playable - the only compliment its gameplay qualifies for.

Graphics: 3.0
If the low polygon counts and terrible character design don't get a grimace out of you, the drab and hideous color palette will.

Sound: 2.0
King of Clubs makes you thankful Benjamin Franklin invented the "mute" button.

Difficulty: Medium
The courses are difficult because they're so poorly designed, not because the King of Clubs is actually challenging. T

Concept: 1.0
Out-of-work actors poorly playing miniature golf in the desert. Seriously?

Multiplayer: 4.0
This is the game's only redeemable quality.
