The article states Tekken 7 might be the best fighter currently available on Xbox, but leaves out important information that it never takes advantage of the Xbox hardware. It never got any kind of patch/boost/upgrade for the more powerful Xbox consoles, meaning it still runs at 720p I believe, resulting in a very blurry look.
Truly wish more devs would respect their products and customers enough to address issues such as these.
I know I'm in the minority, but I like the new gear thing. It's a meaningful progression system, something that I feel has always been lacking in fighters because they are so focused on competitive play.
The first Injustice did have the banner and icon things that you could unlock and customize, but I always forgot about those. Having costume pieces sounds really cool, and I'll definitely put in a ton of matches with my favorite heroes just to unlock new stuff for them.
I cannot wait. I am pretty much in a permanent state of hype.
