I had my hopes high when they said they will discuss about Starwars in the starting of conference.
Not to be a downer, but we all knew all that information, and damn I'm not a fan of behind the scenes. But...anything is better than nothing.

Amy's SW game is going to rock my world. I can feel it in my gonads.

BABY-JEDI2900d ago

Pretty awesome. Now, bring the Death Star 😀

morganfell2900d ago

Can you imagine doing visual scanning looking for Tie Fighters dropping into the trench behind you? I have run the Oculus Star Wars demo countless times and can only imagine what this will look like.

BABY-JEDI2899d ago

I'm looking forward to Eve Valkyrie on PSVR. But X-wing vs TIE would be awesome 😉

morganfell2899d ago (Edited 2899d ago )

Yeah I was disappointed when Valkyrie launched on PC with no support for OR2 dev kits so I didn't buy it. The people that helped test it and get it right were cut out of the support loop at launch.

RosweeSon2900d ago

Some of it looked really cool just wish it wasn't all being made by EA. also battlefront 2 already on the way hopefully they don't rush it out any time soon have they even finished releasing the season pass stuff yet, give people a chance to enjoy the first game to its full ie with all the planned content before moving on to another one to cash in on the Star Wars name.

-Foxtrot2900d ago

Another Battlefront game next year...REALLY

You mean with the rest of the content which should have been in the last one, is this also going to be generic or have they reverted back to the original.

SegaGamer2900d ago

Star Wars to EA is just a cash grab.

-Foxtrot2900d ago

Yeah I mean they even said they rushed the last game to get it out for the new film

jb2272900d ago

Well that much was to be expected really, they are gonna milk that mp...

What was more interesting to me were the comments about "listening to fans" & the fact that they added that Motive team to development...Motive is a new team I guess but I wonder if they will be making their names on a proper campaign for Battlefront? Or Dice just needed help on the mp which is just as likely I suppose.

Either way these devs on games like Battlefront & Titanfall have a lot to prove if they throw in a campaign now...it'll be scrutinized twice as hard really. Hopefully they'll be up to the task & give us an exceptional campaign in regards to what is typically expected w/ an mp fps focused game.

jay22900d ago

omg got to wait till 2018 for veriserals game

-Foxtrot2900d ago

Then count the possible delays on top of that

Testfire2900d ago

I don't think they will delay anything if not ready. EA would rather release it on schedule and patch it up after release. At least that's their track record.

F*** AI

"Hey Copilot, what's a good meme to prove I dislike AI".... https://giphy.com/clips/sou...

Einhander19721d 5h ago

Two trillion dollar company that just can't wait to put as many people possible out of work as fast as possible.

It feels like every single thing they do is making gaming worse and destroying the industry.

....you know it takes people to program the AI.... right? It isnt like it is sentient. We haven't reach skynet level of situation or anywhere close to the matrix just yet.

That's next Thursday.

Einhander19721h ago(Edited 1h ago)

It takes a people to program the AI then that AI is used for who knows how many games eliminating countless jobs which only grows as AI is used for more and more game creation functions.

What you're saying is so ridiculously short sighted and truly larking any kind of understanding and foresight.

Why all the hate? Im actually excited about this! Always wanted this kind of immersion, and an AI companion with me all the time helping me out knowing the status of my skills/inventory/progress and giving me tips on the best approach or how to craft something specific is game changing for the industry.

Hate all you want about AI, but this is just the start and I can see the potential already. You wont be complaining in the next 5-10 years about this, but rather complain if a game hasn’t implemented it.

MrDead18h ago

Yes we can't wait for the work of others to be used without the need to pay them so that MS can profit even more from the people they fire.

I_am_Batman17h ago(Edited 17h ago)

There is no chance I'd ever use something like this, especially if it's not part of the core game design, but a layer on top of it. It's way too much handholding. Many games already feel like busy work, because they don't let the player figure things out on their own. Having a real-time interactive guide defeats the purpose of playing the game in the first place in my opinion.

If this were to become the standard like you predict, we'll see more and more video games get away with bad design, because people will just be used to ask for help from the AI companion anyway.

Number1TailzFan17h ago

Well Nintendo don't need this with some of their games these days, with invincible characters, items, easy bosses etc.. they do the hand holding built in

helicoptergirl17h ago

Takes "hand holding" in games to a whole new level.

Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 launch trailer will send shivers down your spine

Ninja Theory's latest trailer for their highly anticipated narrative action-adventure Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 is absolute cinema.

Reaper22_1d 6h ago

Like I said before, buying Ninja Theory was one of the smartest moves by Microsoft. Games looks incredible.

Rynxie1d 2h ago

Unfortunately, their games aren't big sellers. Will MS shut them down if hellblade 2 sells below expectations?

outsider16241d ago

If it sells below expectations, then i expect it to come to PS5.

Elda1d ago

The game may be a critical hit & still can get shut down. I highly doubt most XB owners will buy this game including the fact that it's digital only at $50. Most folks that have Gamepass will play the game through the sub service. If the reviews tomorrow are just average to low then that's another problem.

Obscure_Observer1d 2h ago

"Like I said before, buying Ninja Theory was one of the smartest moves by Microsoft. Games looks incredible."

Indeed.

Just a few hours to go

I can´t wait!

z2g1d 6h ago

badass. already installed via gamepass. if its as great as the first one I will pay for the whole game.

glenn19791d 1h ago

I just don't understand why all the down votes

jwillj2k41d 5h ago

Here we go again. Is this a game or a choose your own adventure???

purple1011d 5h ago

if you choose left, turn to page 39, if you proceed forward, turn to page 43, to turn right, page 209, you finished the book early,

no but seriously this looks like Microsofts first hit, or should I say, first game of standout quality.

jwillj2k41d 4h ago

Never questioned the quality. Question is will there be a need for the controller.

anast1d ago

The time machine 'choose your own' were awesome.

Tedakin1d 3h ago

If it's anything like the first game, you will spend a lot of timing walking and solving puzzles, with some fights thrown in.

Elda1d 5h ago

LOL! Didn't send any shivers down my spine but I'll demo it after midnight tonight through Gamepass to see what it's giving.

Obscure_Observer1d 2h ago

After the midnight? I see...

Day one as expected for another game that you said you had zero interest.

Elda1d ago (Edited 1d ago )

Finally making a re-appearance. When the heat was on about XB closing studios you were crickets on all articles. Now that the heat has died down all of a sudden you're here on an XB exclusive article or should I say a timed exclusive...lol!! If you must know I can demo this game at midnight because the University I work at is closed for the summer so I can play video games until my heart's content until the end of August when I go back to work. That's what Gamepass is for, knowing I would not spend $50 on Hellblade 2 because the first one I thought was boring so I'm going to see if this one is still boring or is it interesting by demoing the game.

PhillyDonJawn1d 1h ago

I'm surprised you're interested

Elda1d ago

Why not I have a year subscription to Gamepass, I don't have to spend $50 on a digital only game that I may not like including I'm on a lengthy vacation from work.

rlow11d 5h ago

It looks amazing, I’m hoping the reviews are solid. You can tell the studio really poured their heart and soul into this one.
