I enjoyed the Zero Escape on Vita, quite a bit. It's no Danganronpa, but I'd certainly play 999.

ZE > DR but both are good. Hotel Dusk/Last Window stomps them both anyway.

Hotel Dusk and Last Window are both for Nintendo DS, however Last Window was not released in America so you would need to import it, though it is in English and DS is not region-locked so it isn't a real issue. If you like games such as ZE and DR then you should love the series.

On what platform(s) are those games you mentioned on? I'm always down to try something.

Eidolon2894d ago

I don't know if you can compare them besides being VN's. It's all tastes, I prefer the Zero games.

FullmetalRoyale2894d ago

Well I compare them solely on the experience they provided. I like the setup of Dangangronpa more.

if they release it I'll replay it for the easy platinum

Lol, calm down, not enough to start speculation.

Great game on DS! If it does come to Vita, I hope they bring that branch selection and record system from VLR.

KentBenMei2894d ago

It was said TO start speculation, derp.

Eidolon2894d ago

Dude, he took the word "vital".. and turned it into this. It's releasing on steam is all I get from the tweets.

nodim2894d ago

Why would he even go out of his way to write ANOTHER tweet with an added "vital" word then? Everyone already understood that it's coming to steam from the first one.

Or better yet, they should bring the two first games, pretend the third never happened and make it again with better writers who actually know the characters. As a big fan of the series, I couldn't believe how bad Zero Time Dilemma was not only with its writing, but also its messy game structure, unsatisfying conclusion, ignoring the greatest mystery of the second game, bad new characters, and an epilogue that's actually hidden and made by just some text.
[SPOILERS]
And let's not forget the addition of sudden alien technology shoehorned into the plot.

EDIT:
"and the final game in the series, Zero Time Dilemma, won our 2016 Game of the Year award"
Oh wow, now I'm truly questioning your site's taste. At least at some point in the article you recognized it's the weakest of the three.

CDbiggen1201d ago

I enjoyed the third, but I completely agree it was a bit of a let down. The characters were so weak.

Unknown_Gamer57941201d ago

Agreed. It would be perfect on the Switch. I especially loved Virtue's Last Reward.

But where are can someone find them and how do they get started?
