With its release just over two months away, does The King of Fighters XIV have what it takes to bring SNK back from the brink?
Following a recent interview with Sony, Naughty Dog head Neil Druckmann claims the original intent was “unfortunately lost” in the process.
Glad he clarified it but i'm still somewhat skeptical. Plus, his comments about how Ai will revolutionize storytelling were still pretty iffy.
The Outerhaven interviews Francisco González of Grundislav Games about his passion for Point and Click games.
The Xbox brand has done a lot of good over the years, but their various blunders are pretty wild to look back on in their magnitude.
Ironically number 9 can save them at this point (releasing games on multiple platforms)

Top 10 for me from are:
1. 2013 reveal presentation
2. Bundling Kinect 2 with Xbox One
3. RRoD or why rushing to market with hardware is always a bad idea.
4. Buying studios only to close them.
5. Ads on the Home Screen
6. Letting Halo die.
7. Letting Geard of War die.
8. Every console name
9. Charging for Xbox Live on Xbox 360 when Sony let PS3 players play online for free.
10. Cancelling release of OG Xbox games after the Xbox 360 launched.
I think if they can get this game in EVO next year, it will bode extremely well for SNK. Seems to be working for Pokken.
SNK needs to do more than just KoF. They need to bring back more of their franchises, also try something new, make some new IP's.
But most importantly, they need to get some competent graphic artists. KoF is just not graphically appealing and with so many games in the same genre with stunning graphics most fans will dismiss KoF and any other SNK game if they look like this.
I feel like KoF is permanently in a niche. It can expand its presence in that niche though!
I think so, even if the graphics are not awesome, the gameplay seems fluid and SNK has credit to spare. I will give a vote of confidence. Day one.
It's a first step, then if it goes well then they can bring other games to the light. I say the best thing to do is get help from other companies.
