The Technomancer: A Look at Companions

During E3 last year, Fextralife brought you some early looks at The Technomancer, a sci-fi RPG developed by Spiders and published by Focus Home Interactive. We were intrigued by its potential and put it on our most wanted list of games to watch. The past year has been relatively quiet on the information front but we do know now that the game will be released on June 28 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. On this article, we look at the latest information available.

This game is on my radar. I hope there's more information shown so I can make a proper decision.

If you played Mars War Log then you have an idea of what sort of game this is going to be. I really enjoyed Mars War Log personally and this looks like a much more realized version of that game.

I have an appointment to play it at E3 so I should have a good idea of how it plays then. Will report back!

Bound by flame was mid-tier greatness IMO. This releasing in dry season makes it a day 1 for me. Smart move fellas!

I dunno why others don't do it. Anyway, this game looks great, it's very odd that I haven't heard of it, as I spend wayyyy to much time on these sites.

The only thing I do actually want, and that bound by flame gives me hope for, is difficulty. Games like ME play best on the hardest difficulty, almost as if they are designed for it. Same with TW3 and F4.

I'm a real sucker for sci-if so this game rings all my bells..the art and monster design looks great! I just hope it's better than their previous efforts.

Great news it shows that Nintendo intends to continue developing ports of AAA games to its next gen platform

H913h ago

Buying studios from embracer now is a great deal, they must be dirt cheap at this point, Nintendo is a opportunist, they wait until someone fall so they get their best deal

OtterX7h ago

That is some serious brain gymnastics you have going on there. 🤔

H94h ago

I didn't do any gymnastics I can assure you, honestly I don't know why you think that, not hating I seriously don't see why you think that

ZeekQuattro2h ago

Yeah I don't know where that came from. It's rare for Nintendo to flat out aquire studios. Guess they were trying to be edgy but why flex on this studio. 🤣

I hope someone buys Piranha Bytes, their future isn't looking good right now. I love their RPGs, they're janky as f***, but they have heart and soul.

Nintendo saw the Mortal Kombat 1 Switch port and were like, "Yeah, these guys are worth acquiring."

You can't make this crap up lol

Profchaos8h ago

Mortal Kombat 1 was never going to port well I'm sure they told wb it wasn't going to work but wb wants that sweet sweet 140 million install base

In the end wb approved the project cleared the milestones and allowed the product to release

SonOfOsiris4h ago

Yeah this guys ported MK11 which is great, Hogwarts Legacy which is great, and MK1 is now ok, play it every day
