There will be a new Splatoon Update next week

A software update for Splatoon will be released on June 8th 2016. The software version after this update will be 2.8.0.

I too have a currently very popular console 'of choice' that I enjoy playing games on. It is true that it has many more quality games coming out on it than the WiiU, shame they're almost all remakes, reboots, sequels or derivatives that lack the spark of fun and originality that their inspirations came from. Splatoon is a genuinely fun and different game in a saturated genre and it's your loss you can't, and probably never will, see that.

Nice try guys but I don't think so! You see some of the highest rated games are on my system the ps4, Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, (not to mention dlc quality that easily reaches over 30 hours with Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine), Uncharted 4, Overwatch, Ratchet and Clank, Nioh, Rocket League, Resogun, Bloodborn, and gee whiz the list goes on and on my goodness! These games are not remakes and most certainly not derivative. Gosh and they most certainly beat the heck out of Splatoon, Nintendo wish they had these titles lol!

All those are great games, but they are still remakes,sequels, reboots or derivative except for rocket league (though that's a modern Ballblazer). I'm currently loving uncharted 4 but I keep on thinking 2 is better. I'll be picking up Overwatch for my Team Fortress hit. You do know that Ratchet is a HD remake of a PS2 game with the story buggered? Bloodborne isn't as good as Demon Souls. The witcher is the third in the series and is definitely the best now the patches seem to have smoothed out the experience, however I preferred Skyrim when it was finally fixed. Yes, Nubtendo would like them, but that doesn't alter the fact that youre wrong about Spatoon. Why are you trolling articles on it if you don't even own it?
