EB: There are plenty of new video games to choose from this week, so choose wisely. The big name releases are the Blood and Wine expansion for The Witcher 3, the third episode of HITMAN, and the Dead Island Definitive Collection. SMITE is also officially releasing on the PS4 this week.
Gaming has given birth to some of the best DLCs ever made that enhance the base game significantly. Here are a few top recommendations.
While gamers usually take notice of the mainline missions, these 5 side quests deserve more widespread attention for how entertaining they are.
The month of October is going to be filled with excitement as the Hitman franchise is commemorating its 25 years of being in the business.
It’s the 25th anniversary this year?
I’d have assumed it would have gotten something like a remastered trilogy of the original games or a remake of the first game. Something for a 25th celebration.
Super lacklustre
This is the best review I have read. I gave it an 8, but its spot on. It's a dichotomy of sorts, similar to SF5. It is gorgeous, has a great roster of highly tuned heroes, amazing maps, the combat is damn near perfect, and...well...its a ton of fun.
But, like SF5, if ya played the beta, you saw it all, because today $60 will only get you 12 maps and 4 modes. Battlefront and Titanfall were crucified for this. And while I do belive that Blizzard will most likely survive the initial lull, this new trend it is becoming inexcusable.
It was supposed to be f2p. Then Blizzard noticed the hype. I thought maybe it wouldn't be f2p b/c it would have some type of sp or co-op. Blizzard can craft amazing narrative. Nope, when theu said it's structure fit better with a paid model, I guess they just meant, holy hell this is gonna sell a lot. And I really hope everything that comes out from here on isn't nickel and dime.
Anyway, great game, I believe it will stick around, but would have ultimately made more money as f2p. Despite its brilliance, it's launch is very shady.
