"From my time with the game, I have found the $15.99 title offers hours of randomized gameplay that has yet to grow old. So what is Leap of Fate? Imagine a game in the style of The Binding of Isaac, where you control a character and shoot your way through a bullet hell-esque scenario with your left and right mouse buttons and your spacebar. Four characters are playable – each with a pretty unique set of attacks (and assuming there isn’t a hidden character among them) – and unlockable once you complete a set of five missions per character."
If you're looking for a challenging game then you can't do much better than a twin-stick roguelike. Leap of Fate has you work through card-based stages in order to uncover the pasts of four fateful heroes so if you're up for it; let's shuffle the deck.
Each week Sony brings PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Portable owners new content, add-ons, games and more.
P&L write: "Leap of Fate is a unique blend of furiously-paced action, and roguelike elements. Critical reception for Leap of Fate has been positive, with current Steam review scores achieving 93% and a Metacritic rating of 80%."
