Excellent article! This franchise is amazing I started around the Vita games and have been playing since. But for the newer releases I have lagged behind in purchasing due to my backlog. This great comprehensive article got my bearings straight thanks!
I always hear good stuff about the Atelier series, but with so many games I didn't feel like actually researching. So this article was a good read, and I may buy Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book in the near future.

Today, publisher Koei Tecmo announced that it will launch Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey both physically and digitally for PS4 and digitally for PS Vita in North America and Europe sometime in spring 2017.
I love Gust characters design, i didn't like Atelier Sophie idk if i should get this one, trailer have steam icon so i think its coming to pc too or KT mistaken.
l started the atelier series just now with sophie and love the relaxing style of it all. not hardcore not too kiddy..cute af characters. l'm probably going to pick this up too if it keeps the no time restrictions policy. l didnt play the series because of that :C
