The Fallout 4 Far Harbor expansion was released earlier this week. It is by far the most beefy of all the DLC released for the third best selling game of 2015. As like most open world Bethesda games, two things remain constant:
1. Its fun and engrossing
2. Its a buggy mess
The game suffers from two major bugs. First, NPC dialogue constantly overlaps between sentences. Not only does this make dialogue difficult to hear, but also destroys any sense of environmental immersion. Watch the 44 minute mark of the video below. Second, your character textures often disappear when your talking, aka Assassin’s Creed Unity circa 2014. These aren’t one offs either. They happened frequently in the first ten hours I’ve played (still not done yet). Other bugs I encountered (albeit not as frequent) were: my character getting stuck in front of a computer terminal, and not being able to exit my power armor.
With Arkane Austin no more and Lyon living for who knows how long, the superb Dishonored is in serious danger; Microsoft cannot be trusted.
I love the Dishonored series so much and really want Dishonored 3. Microsoft better not screw this up.
I mean, I think the fans will probably kill Arkane Lyon by cooking up reasons to hate whatever they do next without playing it. I've never seen a game so artificially disliked as Deathloop.
Lol, why don't we just say, we are worried about all studios owned by MS now. They will keep closing studios until they have none left ...🙄
A renowned industry insider has suggested the rumored PlayStation May 2024 showcase featuring Silent Hill 2 could happen this week.
Bogus!
Why would Sony do that and how would this benefit them?
1) It would piss off their media partners (IGN, Gamespot, Edge, etc.) since they would have to allocate resources fast to cover the event.
2) Risk of not having great coverage or proper coverage from the various source
3) It could give the impression that they are not confident in their own stuff.
4) They would miss the chance to hype the event losing viewers and losing free marketing time.
Again I'm calling it bogus unless it's a small showcase before the big one or because they want to announce that Hellbalde 2 is also coming on PS5.
Going in with no expectations but likely will see something that resonates with me.
In a town hall that took place on Monday, Square Enix president Takashi Kiryu reportedly confirmed imminent layoffs in the U.S. and Europe.
What did NA and EU did anyways? Just translate or something? I would say it might help them get back to there roots but DK.
I really like the things pointed out in this article but the site really need an editor for the spelling mistakes.
I agree and have been saying it for years, Bugthesda always get a free pass and it's BS, they should be ripped apart for the buggy/glitchy crap they release >:(
This is more about the franchises main attractions. Assassins Creed vs Fallout and how the gamers react to the amount of glitches. I think it has more to do with the content. There is only a finite amount of space in areas of Assassins Creed while Fallout has huge maps for which to explore. So the glitches become more apparent and game breaking for Assassins Creed while they are found humorous in Fallout games. Fallout has a lot of content, people tend to enjoy the experience a lot and find novelty in the glitches that do come about.
I still have not bought Fallout 4 and have little desire to until ths price goes down to $20. I did buy the Witcher 3 on day 1 for full price however.
