Bring it back home to the Xbox where it belongs making it exclusive to playstation is like a slap to the face just like I felt when tomb raider became a xbox exclusive

Yui_Suzumiya2930d ago

Holy crap! You're terribly misinformed about alot of things, bro

Shenmue started on Dreamcast
Rise of the Tomb Raider is coming to PS4 this year

You mean on the platform it didn't sell out?

Gaming is a business if a game doesn't move enough units on a particular platform it's probably a wise idea to not actually created on there because Sega is such a small publisher they are also very conservative on how they spend their money and I think it's wise for them to only spend the money for a room after on PlayStation 4 and PC not only because of the installed base size but because the communities are used to purchasing Japanese content.

Sega wants a safe investment and I really can't blame them.

It's why Metal Gear Solid 2 substance released on the Xbox But Metal Gear Solid 3 and 4 didn't, it's why onimusha 1 released on the Xbox it only motion 2 and 3 and Dawn of Dreams didn't.

Companies will try it out and if it doesn't work they have no reason to keep wasting money on an install base that most likely will not purchase such a game mind you have gone almost went out of business last generation from bringing all their games multi-platform most Publishers just don't have that type of money to always gamble making a game on multiple platforms.

It's why I personally feel that could Kojima left Konami in that entire Fallout even happened might be because of Konami wanting to bring it to multiple platforms and probably saw very little return to my understanding almost 70% of all copies of Metal Gear Solid V sold on the PlayStation 4 which is absolutely crazy it means that if they had a analyst that was able to properly show them where the game was more likely to perform it was a possibility they could have saved Millions upon millions of dollars merely focusing in on a set number of platforms releasing it on multiple platforms probably heard that company more than helped. It's rumored that Metal Gear Solid V cost 80 million and with inflation over the years it's probably closer to 100 million meaning that even the prophet received from Metal Gear Solid 5 isn't enough to make another Metal Gear Solid of the exact same scale across the exact same number of platforms.

Thus they are no longer even making dedicated Triple-A console games anymore. This is a situation where I think they got it correct to be very cautious and conservative on how they spend I don't at all even the slightest blame them for feeling this way because then being very smart with their money is why they still exist in gaming.

Always remember it is Capcom that is outsourcing their games and almost went out of business, it's Konami that just quit making Triple A games. So before we go out asking Sega to release content on all platforms let's consider that conservatism is why they're even still in existence in the first place last time I remember SEGA was not out trying to release all their games on every single platform known to man Last Generation.

Will be lucky if they even make a PlayStation 4 version that even comes to the west, SEGA does not play games with their money and they invest very strict and only on sure bets.

Wow I was looking for a reaction and yours take the cake

_-EDMIX-_2930d ago

@Dabig- lol, if you say so.

Just saying, some companies have logical, sound reasons for why they make certain decisions.

Fin_The_Human2930d ago

I am all for remasters but they would need to tweek the gameplay a bit.

For its time it was innovative but feels very stale now and see where people would get bored.

marioJP872930d ago

I agree. I played it on a emulator on my laptop. Even though it was in full 1080P quality, it felt outdated. It would also be amazing to motion capture it in a remaster.

Never say never, I really didn't expect to ever see Space Marine 2 and 12 years later its almost here.
So there is still hope for all these games.

Chocoburger100d ago

I've completed 5 of the games on the list, but the author forgot to include Advent Rising. It was supposed to be a trilogy, but it bombed hard, and the two sequels never got made. It was Mass Effect, a console generation before Mass Effect.

The game is buggy and unpolished, it needed a few more months of development, but the potential was there. At the end of the game, you have all these super abilities, I remember the stomp attack that created a shockwave being especially powerful.

shinoff2183100d ago

I personally think days gone will recieve some sort of sequel at some point. I'm personally also hoping it's not the rumored multiplayer online stuff. I'd think most that enjoyed it would rather thisnto.

Sony needs to dust off Sly Cooper and Days Gone so needs a sequel two of my favorite Sony titles. Bulletstorm I love great game wish it also got a sequel. And I wish Namco would finally give Enslaved a sequel another great game.

Dragon's Dogma and XCOM 2 are the best deals. The rest of the games are still overpriced. I would say 8.99 is good for AC: Origins, but you need to put $10 more into MTs to avoid the grind that slows down the story. So, the game is actually 18.99.

It's not on this list, but Pathfinder: Kingmaker is only $9.99. This is a deal if you have a current gen. consoles, as it runs poorly on prev. gen.

hangdang712d ago

I beat AC origins without grinding or spending any money on MTX?

anast712d ago

I had to grind for side missions. So, did many other people.

Has anyone been able to login in to the ps store on ps5 I haven't been able to in days and my network is good.

RedDevils712d ago

Reset or shutdown your PS5. I always can go login to PS5, in fact just a moment ago.

HeliosHex712d ago

Hey thanks again. Although the shutdown/reset didn't work i found that resetting the mdm and hub did the trick. I use a Lan network instead of wifi. In case anyone has a similar setup and problem.

RedDevils711d ago

I forgot to mention about the router reset, that usually do the trick when it come to network problems happen with iphone/android. btw np
