Osamu Kubota has quite a sense of humor to go along with his musical talents. He's been contributing to various Beatmania titles for nearly ten years, bringing classical piano to the series' mainly electronic fare, and in 2007 his contributions to Granado Espada were released, featuring live recorded music from an orchestra in China. In his first interview with English-speaking game media, Kubota discusses his past, his philosophy on music and games, and what he has in store for his fans in the future.
The Japan server for Granado Espada is apparently new content update and more live events due to its immense popularity in the country, and the new “Infinity” update was teased earlier. While details are short now, everything will be explained in a live stream on 2nd December.

Now, I've never really experienced 'epic' music from a game until I played Final Fantasy X for the Playstation 2, but the fact that so many MMOs have such uninspiring graphics is a bit sad. I don't expect epic music from any MMO I play, but having good music certainly enhances the enjoyment of an MMO...."
