On April 27th, Nintendo revealed that at E3 this year, the only playable game on the show floor would be the next Zelda game that is currently in development for Wii U. (Yes, this same game is also in development for their next console, codenamed NX, but that version will not be playable at the show.)
What's coming in right now from sources is that the actual layout of the booth is going to be not too dissimilar from Nintendo’s E3 2005 presentation of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. For reference, you can look at these videos that I took 11 years ago at that show, of the Zelda section in Nintendo’s booth.
This year at E3, expect Nintendo’s booth to look like Hyrule field, with there being several different sections of different playable Zelda demos, each matching each other in theme: ice, fire, etc. (Article continues)
Want to play nearly every single Zelda game on one Nintendo console? Well you can, but it involves getting hold of a Wii U.
Or a moderately recent PC, CEMU is amazing. Even a 1050 can emulate the games at a higher res than the Wii U :)
No you just need this https://cemu.info/ and the roms. It will look so much better on the PC even in 4K, you can even use reshade to make it look even better. How about a little ray tracing to 😁 https://www.youtube.com/wat...
What are the best Legend of Zelda supporting characters? Todd, Tyler, and Will from the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast discuss!
This week on Charged Shot, NinjaJordan joins us as we discuss how YouTube is broken yet again. Our opening topic this week we talk about advertisers pulling their funding from YouTube. We mention Zelda again but this time we list out our favorite Zeldas.
Cool....
wow , I hope its colorful like new art style of the game and a lon lon ranch :P
Quick show of hands; who's loving the new artwork they put out for Link?
He looks a LOT more manly than he did during the initial reveal of the game.
With a couple of Pokemon in the bushes.
Zelda will be the only game playable but it won't be the only game shown off as in trailers, previews or information.
Nintendo still has several games on 3DS and Third parties as well for 3DS plus indies.
So a Digital Event with those are bound. Plus Paper Mario and Tokyo Mirage Session #FE.
But having their entire booth focusing on their biggest game yet if not bigger than Xenoblade Chronicles X in terms of production. Is a smart move.
