Push Square: "Sony has, without question, the largest pool of first-party developers in the industry. Worldwide Studios consists of 12 developers at the time of typing, each with their own identity, production ethos, and PlayStation 4 projects in the works. Given that we're still a few weeks away from E3, we thought that it would be entertaining to tour the globe and take a look at just what each team is up to. In this article you'll find everything from information on announced exclusives all the way through to rumours regarding unannounced releases. And if you can't be bothered with all of the text, do check out the video embedded above as well."
Sony Interactive Entertainment has added a few more titles to the list of games that will be leaving PS Plus in May, 2024.
curious... if a game leaves PS+, does it make it unplayable if you have already claimed it before it leaves? I know on the XB side, games leaving Gamepass are no longer playable. You need to pay for them to be able to continue playing after you installed them from GP.
Wonder if Horizon ZD leaving gives credit to those remake rumours
Sigh. If true…another remake that’s not Bloodborne.
Can N4G adopt a policy of games leaving subscription services as not being a new story, it is just spam at this point.
Is it me or have there been a lot of great games leaving the extra tier but barely anything in terms of wow factor joining the service in return?
When was the last time that Sony added a PlayStation studio game?
Now I don't expect Sony to have day 1 like Gamepass but I would expect to at least care to make the offering interesting especially when they raised the price by 30% last year.
Media Molecule director said the studio's next title is more a game & less a creation tool. He also regrets not having a PC version of Dreams.
If there was one PC version that should have existed it’s Dreams
I’m super glad they will be going back to something more traditional gaming wise.
My dream was DreamsVR and creating landscapes, characters, and sculptures using that amazing toolbox in vr, that would have been something imo.
Dreams PC was the dream. Woulda given the game a much needed boost. Here’s hoping they follow it up well.
I use to say this when the game was first releasing, many kept saying it would not be possible, something about the toolsets.
I said this was one game that needed to be on as many platforms as possible, including PC and Xbox just like how Minecraft is everywhere.
Creation tools just don't work on console very well. It's definitely more suited for PC, and it's very odd Sony decided not to port it over. Good MM is working on an actual game instead.
IGN writes: "Media Molecule has said the layoffs at the Sony-owned studio have affected plans for ongoing community and curation support in Dreams."
How self sustained can DREAM be when it's basically stuck on PS4? I don't think it's even gotten a PS5 upgrade. Ending support for what is essentially a game making engine is basically death. SONY did DREAMS dirty.
Uncharted, Gran Turismo, Horizon, The Last Guardian, God Of War, Dreams, Bend's Games, RIGS and other VR games, Suckerpunch might be doing Spiderman, Sony Japan is working on an RPG and I'm probably missing something other stuff too
"More than you can afford Pal".
Hoping they got at least something cooking for Vita. Shu said they hadn't completely abandoned making games for it, maybe if he isn't a liar we will see that at E3.
SOCOM???
Is Quantic Dream considered second or third party? I'm almost shocked that they haven't been officially bought by Sony yet since that's all they develop for anymore. Would love to see Indigo Prophecy HD on PS4 and very much looking forward to Detroit!
