When the new "PS4 Neo" shows up, what will entice current PlayStation 4 owners to get it right out of the gate? Will it really only matter for VR?
Sucker Punch’s massive samurai adventure Ghost of Tsushima has come under fire because of the PSN requirement. However, unlike Helldivers 2, things are a lot different and more logical this time.
"Sony has made it clear long before its release that the PSN requirement is strictly for the online multi-player Legends mode in Ghost of Tsushima and the PlayStation overlay. Online connection or PSN is not applied to the single-player campaign, which is honestly what the game is all about."
Legends clearly was based around using the pan they hardly want to have to design a whole new account structure just to play it, that's alot of effort and work. Ultimately people kicked up a fuss despite there being workarounds in most of those territories that people with a ps console have used over there for literally like 15/16 years. This is the consequence of that, be careful what you wish for or demand because you don't necessarily get to pick the method by which you get it.
This game is not Helldivers 2. Every game doesn’t need to be Call of Duty. I may or may not play one minute of the online component. I’m buying it solely for the story/campaign. Sony needs to integrate it better but Microsoft does the same with Xbox live account. It’s an ecosystem they will always want to tie into the console audience and frankly don’t know why this is such a big deal.
Alchemist: The Potion Monger is available now of PC and consoles, and this review will tell you why it shouldn't be overlooked.
Exophobia is the first commercial release from Zarc Attack and Gameranx had the chance to talk about their upcoming release.
I guess alot of people who are getting VR will get it right out of the gate. Im waitng to see how VR goes and how much more of a "Upgrade" this Neo will actually be on games. If i can get games like Horizon zero dawn and Uncharted at 1080 60 fps, ill most likely sell my ps4 and a couple games for $200. Got my ps4 new for 375 a couple years ago. All in all spending the extra couple hundred for a brand new PS4 might be completely worth it. But also this upgrade is still minimum enough where i wouldn't be complaining if i couldn't afford it.
Day 1? For sure, I hope that it can (at least) handle all PS4 games at 1080p/60fps, Imagine Horizon, Uncharted 4, Infamous SS, Dark Souls 3, GTA V and Battlefield 5 at 1080p/60fps, now that would be AWESOME!!
Wife bought me the star wars 1tb ps4 for xmas. No way im upgrading and no way im being stuck with inferior ports. Devs will totally develop for neo to make better trailers and screenshots (we already suffer "bullshots" from the pc versions) and then gimp the ps4 version. WORST IDEA EVER. Some of us are adults who cant just yank on mommys dress till she buys us new shinys. This is the excuse i need to jack in consoles altogether. Sony you ******* up big time.
A decent trade in deal on my old one. though it's got a 2tb hdd in it so i'd need to swap that out.
