I really have high hopes for Scalebound and it being a huge success for Platinum in terms of quality.

Abriael2934d ago

I honestly can't wait to get my hands on a playable demo. What I saw so far was great.

The game has potential, but the most recent gameplay demo I saw was severely lacking in polish and the protagonist was wholly unlikeable. Then again the game was delayed...

Slap platinum on the box and you get 60 bucks from me. They're on fire right now.

sullynathan2932d ago

Even though platinum makes good action games, this is a long way to go in comparisons to other stellar action rpgs like Souls, dragons dogma and monster hunter

Pancit_Canton2932d ago

Maybe if they stay multi-platform for all their games and not make it exclusive. They could have gotten more sales and stay successful.

MilkMan2932d ago

Just tell me even its releasing. I'm dying for this game to drop.

Eonjay2932d ago

Scalebound actually has real potential. Listening to the talk gives me a lot of faith in this project.
Can't wait to see the finished product. Also interested in Nier. I think they have nailed down the philosophy of action games.

Nice to see some VR games following Batman Arkham!
Was a huge fan of Batman Vr on PSVR :)

Quest 3 only is a letdown.. need to see what the experience will be like.

Looks like Ratcatcher will be the main villain in this game.. you gotta love thos rat waves in VR. Was already too much with A Plague Tale Requiem…

Also gives hope WB is not giving up on Arkham series.. hopefully a Rocksteady full blown Batman game after the suicide mission they just got..

Shame that something like this won't be on psvr2. Sony really has to step up on this front. There's a bunch of neat and nifty games out there for it. I'll end up getting one once I get caught up buying all the rpgs I've missed these last few years. Anyway I can't justify spending money on this with only a couple major vr titles. Re4 doesn't cut it for me since I was never a huge fan of the game. To see this batman as an exclusive, unless I'm wrong. Sony gotta pump something up

The industry model and standards and who's in place to approve/disapprove have changed ^ what Keoken is feeling now is much like the Mobile burst 15 years ago. Expect more to come out of your own finances. Investors are treating games like movies and now (thank$ a lot for involving yourself hollywood) only the big (and money blind) investors get involved, effectively killing a lot of content that would come out with proper non-gate-kept and/or with incentivized funding.

And when you only make a fraction of your games worth on gamepass you suffer

Palworld and Manor Lords are so suffering.

New Game of Thrones Video Game In Development

Gravemaster writes: "Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire is a successful franchise, but it hasn’t had much luck when it comes to video games. Many were released, but only the one from Telltale games received more or less recognition and it was cancelled after one season anyway. Now, we have news of another Game of Thrones game in development."

The first 3 or 4 seasons were brilliantly written, then the writers ran out of steam.

Netmarble is one of the biggest mobile developers, if that's not enough indication

DOMination-16h ago

Wow those graphics are incredible

RiseNShine12h ago

Maybe that's what Larian is working on? Or even better, an isometric Witcher CRPG like BG3, a man can dream.
