Gamemoir’s Nick D. makes a case for Final Fantasy V being the pinnacle of the series in this fifth segment of a 14 part feature "Every Final Fantasy is the Best Final Fantasy".
Final Fantasy V is a near flawless RPG and one of Square’s finest 16-bit achievements.
Final Fantasy V Pixel Remaster gives one of the franchises’ underdogs a substantial glow-up, in many ways realizing its potential in ways the original hardware or previous ports never could.
SQUARE ENIX Ltd. today announced that the highly acclaimed FINAL FANTASY pixel remaster series’ next edition, FINAL FANTASY V, would be released as a genuine 2D pixel remaster in Europe on November 10 for Steam and mobile platforms, featuring enhanced pixel visuals and audio.
No it isn't.
LOL no but it definitely a good game. I hate the encounter rate though.
I always love reading a piece by someone who is enthusiastic about old school RPG's. But when you lead with a premise that XYZ is the best ever (or worst ever) you automatically awaken the innate inner fanboy of a good chunk of your potential readers.
So instead of saying 'hey I liked that point you made' or 'remember when this or that happened? How cool was that?' What you end up with is a lot of people telling you why you are wrong, so on and so forth. Just my two cents.
You missed the 'I' in IV, or VI come to think of it.
Final Fantasy IX is my favorite!
