Deck13's upcoming action game, The Surge, is brutal in every sense of the word.
Deck13's Jan Klose confirmed to Wccftech that Atlas Fallen has fully synchronized co-op, and even cutscenes acknowledge the presence of two players, unlike several co-op games.
Wccftech interviewed Deck13 Game Director Jan Klose to discuss the studio's genre switch with Atlas Fallen, the game's length, the three-month delay, and much more.
On length:
"A normal playthrough can easily amount up to 20-25 hours, depending on your playstyle, and if you want to explore every corner of the world and fight every mini-boss, it can take you much longer!"
Pretty solid length! Shaping up to be a hidden gem of a game that should not be ignored.
Game looks beautiful and fun. Ppl are sleeping on D13. I love they no longer mimic DS and BB with their setting. One of the few to use unique Soulslike settings. If u classify Atlas as such. It looks less souls, more action, but still. Has a touch of Darksiders even. Small touch. I like the setting, combat, visuals, and sand surfing. Looks like a fun 7.5.
The Humble Focus Entertainment Legends and Visions Bundle just launched today. It includes seven different games on multiple operating systems that you can redeem and play on Steam. As always, a portion of proceeds from the bundle supports charity.
It might have to be through games like LotF and this that I ease my way into the Dark Souls series...
