The Staggered Release of Dark Souls III is a Disservice to Fans

We got an e-mail from the publisher telling people not to play the early Japanese version as it would not be final and have the benefit of the Day One patch. My thought was why do gamers even have access to it if it is the version you do not want them playing.

How about we get are facts right? The Japan release is not this so called incomplete release, what is however is the glitch that lets you download the West release early. Though I have been wondering will reviewers be reviewing the game on version 1.0 (incomplete according to From)? If so this is all just a bunch of BS.

version 1.0 is also easier with enemies HP being less and damage being reduced so your not really getting the "true" souls experience. This is just the xbox version with the work around to get it English, the PC press copies and PS4 JP versions are on 1.01 though.

Yes! This is the problem with today's consumer. They have no patience. This sense of entitlement is mind boggling to me.

I have the CE preordered, and I have got the platinum for every Souls game, I am psyched, but all in all a 3 weeks is not that bad.

Staggered release?

We only live in one market each, for the most part. We are also speaking about a discrepancy which totals 2 weeks.

Considering I live in NY, and the game will release across all the Western world on 4/12, I see no problem.

Why are others so upset or feel "unfair"?

I do think that some people are like whiny little children who have to get their "shiny" before everyone else and are not adult enough to wait.

Personally I am still playing Bloodborne and The Witcher 3 on "Death March". In addition I have other games on my to do list so I have no problems with waiting.

There is also the additional issue of Uncharted 4 coming out soon that there really is not enough time in the day to play them all, so you really have to prioritise your gaming order.

I Feel sorry for the souls fans who got the game "officially" released game early and unfinished in japan, I'm a crazed souls fan and I think I can speak for every here, if we had the chance to get the game released to us first we would be on this game like flies on scat, remember perspective.
