Being a robot with the task to protect a sky kingdom from evil is hard enough when fighting alone. But being a robot with this task and Wii U controls makes for an even harder adventure. Rodea the Sky Soldier is NIS America’s attempt at making a fun Wii U game, but instead they have created a game that will surely be in the clearance bins at your local Walmart store.
While its true that Yuji Naka hasn’t been churning out classics over the last fifteen years, a closer look at his work over that time shows a creator with a singular vision
NIS America is hosting a new sale across the eShops. Titles for Switch, 3DS, and Wii U are all $10 or lower, with discounts up to 75 percent off.
"Amazon has added new game deals for New Year Deals. Today’s new deals include Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo $10, Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited $13, Rodea the Sky Soldier $15, Watch Dogs 2 $30 and lots more"
When I tried this game I felt like if they had just went with more gravity rush style controls it might have been alright. What they tried to do seemed similar to me but they failed pretty hard.
Wii version is pretty fun. Wii U version is pretty awful. Wii U version is a port of the 3DS version,a port Prope never wanted. Kadokawa made a port themselves and a terrible one on 3DS,then ported the 3DS version to Wii U. The colors are washed out,the mechanics have changed and not just talking controls. I wish every copy came with the Wii version as it's a fun enjoyable game.
