Will virtual reality video games take over the market the way the first 3D games did? The way online multiplayer did? Or this just another fad?
Laundry, cleaning and classic arcade games all in glorious virtual reality
It's sometimes claimed that PC VR usage on Steam is shrinking, but here's why that isn't actually true.
Vr is dope. Idk know why people wanna hate. It's definitely a dope next step. Even if it's a sidestep. I really wish more developers would throw down. Imagine a last of us with vr, or a final fantasy game, all kinds of stuff. It would be incredible.
Thirdverse, the Japan-based VR studio behind Swords of Gargantua, Altair Breaker, and X8, announced that its VR multiplayer JRPG SOUL COVENANT is coming to all major headsets next month. Developed by the core team behind SOUL SACRIFICE (2013), players are thrust into a post-apocalyptic Tokyo in the franchise’s first VR expansion.
After trying the gear VR with my new s7 edge .....I'm sold on VR and the gear VR isn't even close to the quality of the ps4 one. Even just exploring photos in VR is exciting and Google Street view is even fun 😂
Examples don't really fit the headline. Not every game I play is online multiplayer, and 2D games are still available right alongside 3D games. Yeah, VR will be like those.
NO, Nothing will ever match the couch, TV, surround sound experience. Just my opinion, I would still buy it though lol
Anybody up for screaming in VR? LoL, that lady just sold it 😂
No not all games are suited to the VR experience.
I am really excited now however for PSVR as it gives us a new way to play and I cannot wait for GT sport, War thunder, Eve, and that's just the tip of the spear!
