FGE - My history with Mortal Kombat travels all the way back to 1998, when I was only 4 years old yet somehow still found myself playing Mortal Kombat II on the Sega Megadrive (or Genesis for those across the pond) and absolutely loving it. A few months later I found the phenomenon that was Tekken 3, but something always kept dragging me back to messed up skeletons of the acid pool stage of MK II. Despite my long affiliation for the franchise, I skipped the initial release of Mortal Kombat X last April, purely for the reason that I knew it would get an enhanced edition later on down the line. Fast forward almost one year later and Mortal Kombat XL has arrived and my god, it was worth the wait!
Cultured Vultures: With 14 proper entries, we've gone to the trouble of ranking the Mortal Kombat games. Special Forces is clearly number one.
This list is missing amageddon, the only entry with all characters. This list was made by a kid who was not around in the early days of MK
Mortal Kombat X and Mortal Kombat XL received a minor update today that is apparently related to some interface changes as per the patch notes.
NetherRealm Studios has released a new Mortal Kombat X and XL update, adding all the previous rewards from WBPlay accounts
Great game.
Moral?
Need more stages to me but fun game. Smoke is fun to play.
I learnt a long time ago to never buy a WB games first edition. This just backs it up... I'll grab a copy sometime soon.
MORAL KOMBAT:
Instead of fighting, the characters sit and talk about ethics.
Exciting!
