Killer Instinct Leaks Reveal Two More Characters, Shadow Lords Mode

Shoryuken has learned the identities of two more characters joining the Killer Instinct cast in season three: Mira and General RAAM.

Scratching your heads? We don’t blame you. Mira is a fairly new arrival to the Killer Instinct universe who was first introduced in the Xbox One reboot’s extended story as Maya’s late twin sister. While the circumstances surrounding her death are still a mystery, the scant details we have say that Mira sacrificed herself to save Maya.

General RAAM, on the other hand, is yet another guest character. He served as one of the primary antagonists in the opening installment of the Gears of War franchise, and will join Rash of Battletoads fame and Halo’s Arbiter as the third fighter pulled from outside the Killer Instinct universe.

Skorge would be awesome. Always liked him more than RAAM in the looks department.

Hopefully for the Arbiter's sake, his alt costume is his Halo 2-3 look.

Would be cool if Iron Galaxy got one of the knights from Castle Crashers in it too. Would look very obscure and funny but awesome nonetheless.

It has been confirmed on Halo Waypoint that the Arbiter's alt costume is indeed his Halo 2 Anniversary look.

Not only that, but you can get all kinds of Elite uniforms for him, from the ones of Halo Reach, all the way to Halo Anniversary looks.

I would have preferred they used Joanna Dark from Rare instead of the Battletoad.

It would have added to the seriousness of the game.

I was expecting Skorge to be a more likely guest character than RAAM, since he is more agile. I assume RAAM will be a slow hard hitting character .

That's my guess too, his slowness will probably be made up by his grill attack for those fast players.

I hope Xbox is testing the waters for their own all star fighting game. With games like scalebound and Recore coming out they'll surely have enough mascots to pull it off.

I really like the direction of the guest characters... Especially now that most of the old KI characters are available. It is kind of turning KI into a Microsoft All-Stars game over time.
