Hero and Daughter+ Review – GamersFTW

Gabs from GamersFTW writes: Hero and Daughter+ utilises an interesting core mechanic that makes for a refreshing RPG. Much of the combat and art style is straight from RPG Maker, which may put off a lot of players. However, the dialogue is full of humour, and there are plenty of optional side missions to keep things interesting, making the overall gameplay an engaging experience.

Its normally a case of; seen one RPG maker game, seen them all. That being said, there are some gems out there that do use that engine.. This looks like it could still be worth a shot. Thanks for review..

Review: Hero and Daughter+ (PC) | Digitally Downloaded

Review by Lindsay M.

I’ve never been fond of dungeon crawlers. It’s not even close to a hatred through; it’s actually more of a neutrality. I can see their appeal, but I’ve never found one that makes me truly eager to play for more than a few hours.

Hero and Daughter+ - PC Review | Chalgyr's Game Room

Chalgyr's Game Room writes:

Hero and Daughter is a rare treat. Here we have the Hero that’s done it all, multiple times, and is still max level. Essentially being tired of everyone’s shit he basically tells the King to deal with the xth resurrection of the Dark Lord himself. Not impressed with the qualities that should so in fact be upheld by a Hero of the people the King takes matters into his own hands and gives our parched Hero a drink. Welcome to the bottom of the barrel as our Hero Ralph is now a grand total of Level 1 permanently unless he gets his act together. How does a Level 1 Hero manage to take out a Dark Lord? Apparently by meeting up with a Haremancer and summoning a plethora of girls to fight with and for him. Yes you read that right. Haremancer.
