It is, but the punch in the gut can be satisfying for the most part, just so long as you're not stuck dealing with dozens of annoying enemies who call for reinforcements constantly. Those guys suck.

The character designs look amazing. I'm not sure I can put up with that difficulty though.

I may have a new series to love along side Shin Megami Tensei. I hope this game gains traction in sales so that this can have a sequel or two.
