At last week’s Nintendo Direct, it was announced a whole load of SNES games are finally making their way over to the New 3DS and New 3DS XL. However, when the games come out is different depending upon your region.
Last week Europe saw Super Mario World and F-Zero, and we’re getting the next wave of them only a few days from now! On March 10, we will be getting The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past and Super Metroid.
Super Metroid was a monumental triumph of interactive art, a game that achieved new heights in presentation, level design, and pacing, and despite a few flaws, manages to hold up astoundingly well to this day.

Fusion did a great job at it. Really love that horror feel with metroid. I mean you are completely alone on alien planets filled with horrific monsters and toxic environments.
The 2024 Game Anniversaries include some major titles including Half-Life 2, Uncharted 2, and Minecraft.
Two of the best Nintendo games ever made. Definitely in my Top 10.
Up there with Chrono Trigger, Super Mario World & Final Fantasy VI.

I've been over handheld gaming since the original DS stopped being relevant. I'm very happy Nintendo is doing this however. Allowing the newer generation to witness and play some of the greatest games they have ever made is awesome. Having Super Metroid on a portable console is an amazing idea, and is what may get me to buy a New New3DS
