Tom Clancy's The Division - PC/PS4/Xbox One [Player Attack]

Mythor writes: Usually after participating in an open beta for an upcoming game I want to at least tweet up a storm about it, if not write up my thoughts in slightly longer form.

The Division? Yeah, not so much. Not because I didn’t have fun, or had any bug or performance issues, it’s just kind of a thing I played for a whole a bunch of hours and didn’t feel like burbling on about. But I have a job to do, dangit, so let’s do this!

I stopped reading this hate or complaining article after first few paragraphs. Just another whiner on the scene going on about stuff that's actually been fixed. You only have to read all the patch notes n see a few videos that have been released to get all this info.

You talk about the dark zone and how easy it is being forced into rogue. You do know Ubisoft have fixed a good amount of those things that were making players turn other players rogue.

Also your talking about some graphics, Ubisoft have for final release put visuals back in and pumped up the graphics again.

You also go on about mission, about going here fetching this and going there fetching that, it isn't just like that at all and while I was playing the beta I did not get that feeling at all..

Did you understand what a beta actually was?? This is, exactly why I'm glad reviewers can't review the game till it all releases properly and servers go online. You would end up with reviewer's coming out with reviews rite on time for release and to gain publicity and a bit of fame they end up tearing good games apart.

Millions of people will disagree with your article, I just don't know why the minority haters keep writing these pages.

Have you ever heard of don't try something till you have experienced it fully, well that sticks here, try the game fully at final release and then decide. But like I said in another article, God for bid you haters, should ever do that and actually play a game on final release without listening to reviews, make your own mind up..

The division will turn out just great, the year one ans look amazing. Ubisoft, the developers, have done a great job with giving what the community wants and that's the difference maker rite there. When developers and publisher keep close ties with the community games start to pull together nicely, and that's what's happening here.

Stopped reading after the second sentence. Perfect way to turn a reader off is to tell them you don't want to even do the article.

I am in absolute agreement with the OP 👌

I hate when I see single player games and see people begging for multi-player. Jeez guys it don't need to be on every game. Latest one I seen was atomic heart.

Multiplayer or even co-op

If it was always a single player game then that's how it is

Inverno411d ago

It's a trend that never really went away. For me multiplayer in a primarily SP focused game was an excuse for DLC. Then there's the mentality gamers had that adding multiplayer makes a game worth the price, otherwise it should be half price for half a game. A way of thinking devs reassured when they started adding multiplayer to their sequels. We see the same with multiplayer focused games getting SP in their sequels.

Tbh multilayer now is a way to add live service and mtx elements, very rarely does it come of well.

What single players game used to be in a lot of cases now require 3 other people for keeping to really enjoy it and I hate having to rely on others to get the maximum from a game.

Sp should be sp, if devs want to add a separate multi mode then that's fine with me, the legends addition to ghost of tshushima was fricking sick but totally separate to the main game. Sick of co op too.

I remember when certain single player games had them as included optional modes that was played on the couch. Had brilliant times with Syphon Filter and Golden Eye. Me and my bro used to used to fight over who would play as Gabe even though it was technically just a skin. Good times.

I didn't notice your comment before I added mine.
But good times indeed
