I said this just recently and I'll say it again -- power to JRPGS! Let's have a movement to bring JRPGs back the pedestal. More comments please!

Griever2995d ago

I second that! :D On the topic, I recently found out that Berseria is a prequel to Zestiria. I dont think many people know that.

SarcasticDuck2995d ago

that is great! Zestiria is the only Tales I've played until now, so its great to have a game directly connected to it

Griever2995d ago

@Isashi

I am playing Zestiria right now and loving it. Last time I played I had completed that war part and the confrontation with lord of the calamity. I will be playing again this weekend :D

Bring them all to PC and will be a happy camper. How about releasing dot hack on PC namco bandia.

_-EDMIX-_2995d ago

Agreed. I actually want Sega to bring Persona series like Persona 5 to PC as to maximize sales. Its open source, they can go digital only and likely be pretty fine and its an install base that is world wide.

I want to see more of this as JRPGS already have issues with sales and I want to see the best for the genre.

japan needs to go HAM on PC PLEASE! lol I really, really think Square, Namco, Sega can really start to make a very active install base of JRPG fans on PC and really start turning it into a money maker.

I don't like knowing that some titles legit may never get sequels, this will change a lot for the industry and genre.

Titles like Valkria Chronicles, FF series etc have moved respectable sales enough to really warrant it as a day 1 type of deal for PC.

I think they need to start consider support day and date in the future.

Hope to see FFXV, KH3, Yakuza, Persona etc get PC releases as this is good for all consumers, even console gamers.

Consider them making money, means them still making those games in the first place lolz. If VC came to PC along with PS3, maybe we could have seen VC2 and VC3 on more platforms or in the west or something.

Enate2994d ago

I see where you are coming from. Though I doubt Persona 5 or KH3 for that matter will have any issue selling.

user66660472995d ago

Yes! Screw the PS3! Move on to PS4 already or GTFO.

Skate-AK2995d ago

The game is still built with the PS3 in mind. It is relesing in Japan, they just aren't localizing that version.

PC is getting all the games these days, awesome. I have all the systems, but PC is my favourite.

The Tales Of series are some of the best RPGs I've ever played, and the characters are a big reason for that. I don't think I played a single game in the series that I didn't enjoy. Rest in peace.

Snookies1252d ago (Edited 52d ago )

Damn, that sucks to hear... His designs were always wonderful.

H952d ago

RIP, sheade some great designs, man it's one after the other this year

FinalFantasyFanatic51d ago

We're 3 months into the year and I feel like we're taking nothing but L's.

autobotdan51d ago

Wow she was the character designer for Tales of Destiny one of my favorites of all time =(

scorpio_204951d ago

I love the Tales games. Phantasia will always be my favorite. Ironically I felt like as the series progressed the character design became too “anime cliche.”

My first thought was the safe rooms in the resident evil series. When you hear that enchanting music you know you’re safe.

Killer2020UK284d ago

I literally just came here to post this. That music in the Resi 1 safe rooms is playing in my head.

Rimeskeem284d ago

I was thinking TLOU work benches. Although I remember one time where it was a false security.

Perfect. 👌👌

I'd add the top of my highrise apartment in GTA Online. That calm, quiet peace, just knowing as soon as I step out that door I will be bombarded by 8 and 12 year olds calling each other n**** and f****, trolled by combat jets and rocket launchers.

The entire map of SotC is peaceful as hell. Used to just ride around exploring it.

mastershredder284d ago (Edited 284d ago )

Afterlife in Cyberpunk 2077 is a peaceful area? Erm, hands down and very hard to miss, Misty Olszewski's Esoterica is the absolute epitome of peaceful areas in that game.

raiden_188284d ago

The "last of us" deer location i found to be a welcoming respite. It was nice to not have someone trying to eat me.

RPGer283d ago

Kingdom Hearts tend to present half peaceful areas and most of them are amazing.

Why Do Birds Fly? The Moral Philosophy of Tales of Berseria

This strange sentence is not an excerpt from a book on falconry. Nor is it a question from a biology exam or a promo for the Philadelphia Eagles. It’s from the 2016 Bandai Namco RPG Tales of Berseria.
.
The game’s primary antagonist, Artorius Collbrande, uses this question as a means of evaluating people’s moral principles. But how does a basic question about the biology of birds tell us anything about someone’s morality?
