This is no different than asking if people would prefer a new Alan Wake over Quantum Break. It's a disussion that could be had.

Rather than, "Quantum Break is close to release therefore Quantum Break".

Why not talk about the merits of two series made by the same developer? Could be, you know, interesting.

Well Uncharted 4 is right around the corner but if I honestly had to pick 1 over the other that I wanted to play more or was anticipating more then it'd have to be The Last of Us 2. Uncharted is amazing but The Last of Us is just fantastic imo. I just felt more connected to the world and more emotionally connected to the characters in The Last of Us more than I have any Uncharted game. Uncharted has just never engaged me and garnered me emotionally like The Last of Us has. Hell, I and plenty of other people that played TLOU cried during the game at least once or twice so that's saying something lol

With that being said, it really doesn't matter which series is better. Both series are awesome and I'll be playing both of these awesome games on my PS4. Sony has a gem on their hands with Naughty Dog. They are without a doubt Sony's best studio by far and they are in my top 5 list of best AAA developers.

Yeah, just give it time. Uncharted 4 is just around the corner and after that it probably won't be long until they unveil a sequel to The last of us. Why not have both?

Uncharted 4 hands down. Last of Us (ending) was so amazing that I think it doesn't need a sequel. It can only go down from there, but prove me wrong ND!

Uncharted easily .. It actually has enjoyable game_play mechanics.

The Last Of Us is no more of a "movie" than Uncharted, and that stupid me too critique really needs to take a backseat across the whole industry. The Last Of Us also has great mechanics, not easy mode have everything handed to you, like a lot of new age gamers are accustomed to.

Sorry but The Last Of Us has a lot more fun gameplay mechanics than Uncharted. From the crafting system to the cover and listening system. Even the enemy AI was something you just hadn't seen in Uncharted.

Seriously? Have you played any of the UC games or TLOU? UC is much more designed around cinematic set pieces than TLOU is. The game play mechanics of both are entertaining, and I would never consider one over the other, and would be just as happy to receive either.

I could go into detail but it's not worth it.

TLOU has won enough awards, it doesn't need defending.

not worth it cuz you didnt play it, the mechanics from TLoU are more refined versions from the uncharted series.

and as others have said, there are much more cinematic set pieces in Uncharted over TLoU, the most cinematic piece you have in LoU is the opening cinematics or where ellie is hunter the dear. not trains falling off of bridges.

There are 3 things that differentiate the two for me

1. Uncharted is less serious than TLOU
2. TLOU is slower paced than Uncharted
3. TLOU is more emotional than Uncharted.

Every time I finished a level in TLOU I felt like I have been in a grinder. No kill didn't impact. Uncharted is a different story however it is thrilling and I just love the characters.
