That is honestly a ridiculous question when Uncharted 4 is right around the corner.

Hoffmann3000d ago

Its even more ridiculous that some people approved this piece.

mikeslemonade3000d ago

Easily, TLoU2. Uncharted 4 shouldn't have been made, but since it's out I must go buy another PS4 for it.

bouzebbal3000d ago

Uncharted 4 is coming in April. Has this article's approval been pending for months?

_-EDMIX-_3000d ago

Agreed I'm not even sure how they approved such a strange hypothetical.

What happened to journalism. Gaming, world affairs and politics etc, absolute tripe these days.

It's not literally asking which should release in 2016, it's trying to start a discussion about which sequel people think is better.

Geezo, no need to be so literal folks. Turn your brain on and read the meaning behind the words. Failing that, just click the link. n4g should hide the comments until the link is pressed if people are gonna be so asinine.

In that case, it sounds even dumber, seeing as we've seen plenty of uncharted and many users have been part of the beta.
TLOU2? We know nothing about it.

I'm going to write an article about which game is going to be better. FF16(yes, not 15) or FFVII Remake.

Fez3000d ago (Edited 3000d ago )

And you could do that. What would be the problem? People would have their reasons e.g. wanting a new experience rather than replaying an old one.

This is no different than asking if people would prefer a new Alan Wake over Quantum Break. It's a disussion that could be had.

Rather than, "Quantum Break is close to release therefore Quantum Break".

Why not talk about the merits of two series made by the same developer? Could be, you know, interesting.

rainslacker3000d ago (Edited 3000d ago )

Not to mention there's not even any substantial rumors how far they are in TLOU2 development, just some wishful thinking on some people's part.

Otherwise, why not both?:)

Id pick savage starlight and maybe a new cb

ninsigma3000d ago

I'd rather a crash bandicoot by the devs who originally made it. They aren't at naughty dog anymore.

Well Uncharted 4 is right around the corner but if I honestly had to pick 1 over the other that I wanted to play more or was anticipating more then it'd have to be The Last of Us 2. Uncharted is amazing but The Last of Us is just fantastic imo. I just felt more connected to the world and more emotionally connected to the characters in The Last of Us more than I have any Uncharted game. Uncharted has just never engaged me and garnered me emotionally like The Last of Us has. Hell, I and plenty of other people that played TLOU cried during the game at least once or twice so that's saying something lol

With that being said, it really doesn't matter which series is better. Both series are awesome and I'll be playing both of these awesome games on my PS4. Sony has a gem on their hands with Naughty Dog. They are without a doubt Sony's best studio by far and they are in my top 5 list of best AAA developers.

seppo913000d ago

Yeah, just give it time. Uncharted 4 is just around the corner and after that it probably won't be long until they unveil a sequel to The last of us. Why not have both?

Michiel19893000d ago

Uncharted 4 hands down. Last of Us (ending) was so amazing that I think it doesn't need a sequel. It can only go down from there, but prove me wrong ND!

I’ve got it, never played it. Prey is a game I really wanted to like and it’s a game I really should have liked, everything about it is right up my street. But I just don’t know what it was but I just couldn’t stick with it.
