One of the games I'd definitely buy this year.

Xb1ps42991d ago

From what I've read you're really pushing the 980ti to do 4k as far as I know the Titan x is the only card capable of smooth 4K gameplay?!

tee_bag2422991d ago

980ti is just as fast as the Titan X. Titan X might be 5% faster on paper. But the 980ti usually gets better drivers to make up the shortfall.

980ti is good for 4k at a cruddy console 30fps which is unacceptable.

Ippiki Okami2991d ago

LOL PC plebs at it again! NO CPUs now can render 4k native content. Graphics cards now can only display 4k at 30fps or less and even then its not true 4k.

We have to wait 4-10 years before we get true native 4k rendered content not upscaled 1080p outputted to 4k monitors.

tee_bag2422991d ago

@ Ippiki Okami

Cool story. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Tons of GPU's are throwing out 4k native. Educate yourself .

*update*.. man look at your history.. biggest PC troll ever. Insecure much?

Xb1ps42991d ago

Tee bags

Idk... Like I said videos I've seen online tend to say 980ti struggles with 4K. I just got a Titan superclocked and it wasn't cheap so I hope I didn't spend all that money just to find out it's really not the most powerful video card available.

Alexious2991d ago

You just need quite a lot of money for it. But it's (mostly) worth it!

FN4GM2991d ago

Quite a lot huh? That's odd all the elitist's keep telling us building a PC is cheap.

RedDevils2991d ago (Edited 2991d ago )

@FN4GM of course PC is cheaper if you get something of same price as the console the PC will outperform it. But here we're talking about if you want triple that performance/experience you will pay more money for it, just like if you buy a car.

--bienio--2991d ago

Asus pg27aq monitor 4k it's worth to buy??

Xb1ps42991d ago

Only one currently available with a decent price..

I'm hoping that by the time I'm done 4K monitors are cheaper and better until then I'm hoping a 4K Samsung tv will do good enough.

Xb1ps42991d ago

Bullshit..

The video card alone will run you 1200 and let's not get into the 4K monitors...

FlameBaitGod2991d ago (Edited 2991d ago )

AH console only gamer, calling bs with no basis to back it up.

$1,408

Is it cool posting about something you don't know ? and I said ---> PC <-- . $1,500 for the video card LULZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!, Good joke I needed to laugh.

Pixelart2991d ago (Edited 2991d ago )

Sorry @FlameBaitGod I accidently digree'd.
It sounded like you didn't think it was possible. Yep. $1500 for a 4k build is totally possible as you've demonstrated.

Obviously XB1PS4 bought both consoles like a chump and spent more than $1500 with all the subscriptions and overpriced games - all for what.. 30fps 1080p

pfft..I'd be butthurt too lol

_-EDMIX-_2991d ago

1500 for a 4k build is very much feasible so I'm not sure about the disagrees cuz I would say 1200 is feasible for a 4k build.

@Xb1ps4-what's your suggesting about a video card is completely optional one does not actually need a $1,200 video card to run something in 4k so what you're saying doesn't entirely make sense as that setting is not exclusive to a video card of such a price. You can also get a 4k monitor for a very reasonable price.

forager2991d ago

You forgot about the monitor! Also would it be better for dual 290x or 1 furyx? I'm currently at an r9 390 and loving it but those 4K screens elicit a certain itch...

Apollosupreme2990d ago (Edited 2990d ago )

forager, do you also factor in the price of your TV for console gaming?

Anyway, 4k isn't quite ready for the masses just yet but it soon will be. 4k will become a popular thing much earlier on PC than console. That's not me saying I'm better than someone else because I own some stupid material object, that's me stating a reality.

Imp0ssibl32991d ago

Yeah and performance also kind of sucks. I'll be skipping this one at least for now

Twignberries2991d ago

Last gen-ish?

Goddamit @Walker, stay out of the pc articles you insecure console boy.

Errorist762991d ago

It's true...the animations look even bad for last gen tbh!

Walker2991d ago

PC master race's are coming, open your eyes and see the truth bro :)

ShottyGibs2991d ago

Yeah ... this guy's one of the sour fanboy douche bags that approve some of these lame n4g articles and cock blocks other's with positive news. Most insecure console kiddie on N4G.

Pixelart2991d ago

Of course.. anything that's not on PS4 looks last-genish according to you with your fanboy glasses. Wow just wow.. look at your comment history ! I think a chunk of vomit came into my mouth reading over it.

cheesecracker8202990d ago

After reading your history you sound like a angry fan boy "blood borne isn't impressive"with run along to you mama joke are so old. You sound like a butthurt pc elitist douche

LackTrue4K2991d ago

"True"

The game dose not look that impressive, fans are just trying to hype the game/looks up.

Twignberries2991d ago

@onyoursistersback I agree with you to a certain extent. I'm really not that fazed about this game, and I have seen better graphics.. But to say it looks last gen-ish is just an absolute wank.

Kosic2991d ago

This game didn't look like it was a real contender during it's beta. I loaded it up and instantly questioned the quality of the game, the graphics looked sharp, but didn't look of quality. There's plenty of other games at there that pull of the "wow" feature on release, and this one certainly didn't do it.

Excuses alone, I just feel the budget on this title was a lot lower. But it won't remove the fact, the beta was pretty fun. I'm going to wait this out for a while though. Feel like it's a sale item piece for me.

NotanotherReboot2991d ago

Is this Hitman going to be more like the first 4 games than Absolution?

Hold_It2991d ago (Edited 2991d ago )

@Frinker

From my beta experience it plays like Hitman 2 and Blood Money with Absolution's variety of executions, and none of the handholding Mark and Execute garbage, or broken "instinct" system.

In all honesty, It's everything Absolution should have been and is a worthy follow up to Hitman 2 Silent Assassin, and Blood Money.

Apocalypze2991d ago

Glad to hear they went back to their roots!

Alexious2991d ago

Actually, NPCs wait for you to approach before doing anything. That's rather mediocre.

It’s the 25th anniversary this year?

I’d have assumed it would have gotten something like a remastered trilogy of the original games or a remake of the first game. Something for a 25th celebration.

A Deep Dive On all Things Hitman With The Voices Behind Agent 47 And Diana Burnwood

From PSU: "Ten years ago, the Hitman franchise was in a transitory state. Blood Money had become something of a classic and with Hitman Absolution there was a clear decision to push IO Interactive’s assassination sim series to a whole new level. That experimental, often divisive, entry turned out to be pivotal in what would follow.

Elements of Absolution, such as its accessibility and player-created content, would be mixed with the more traditional Hitman games’ sense of murderous creativity to birth the Hitman Trilogy 0f 2016-2021. A series that would take its creators on a turbulent journey of publisher changes, independence, and the eventual triumph of being handed the tantalizing 007 license."
