Screw Far Cry: Primal, Where’s Blood Dragon 2?

Pixelgate writes:

''With Far Cry: Primal on the verge of release, I find myself asking one simple question. Where did Blood Dragon 2 go? Of course it was never a given that a follow up to 2013′s 80′s and 90′s fuelled thrill ride would happen, but it made sense.''

Blood Dragon 2 should have been made instead of Primal. Primal looks like a carbon copy for Far Cry 4 with nothing new and an extremely boring Melee mechanic.

PixelGateUk3036d ago

But hey! you get to hunt animals and throw spears while running around barely clothed. They call that a normal weekend where i'm from

-Foxtrot3036d ago

See I'd rather they take Blood Dragon and make a new IP out of it instead of hinging onto Far Cry

Makes it so they can't rely on reusing assets from the main Far Cry game.

Either Blood Dragon or something similar like Bloody Dragon...which would be ok since it comes off like a bad period joke

Momo1183036d ago

this is just a complete guess, but I think blood dragon was just a one-off type of game. I'm not expecting a sequel.

FallenAngel19843036d ago

Perhaps because Blood Dragon was supposed to be a one and done title. I don't expect a 90s or 2000s sequel anytime in the future.

At least Far Cry Primal is trying something new

Kalebninja3036d ago

Why is anyone expecting a sequel it was a small standalone dlc no reason to expect a sequel.

''Of course it was never a given that a follow up to 2013′s 80′s and 90′s fuelled thrill ride would happen''

No expectation here

This so much. Primal looks so boring, please bring back Michael Biehn and his metal arm.

Titan fall 2 was chefs kiss. For those of you who haven't played it go ahead. Brilliant. With each level being creatively different.

Yui_Suzumiya371d ago

Island, Steins;Gate Elite and Soma.

MadLad371d ago

Soma is an epic experience.

jznrpg371d ago (Edited 371d ago )

Does ISLAND have English subs ? I can’t find a copy that says it has English subs for PS only the Switch version which I rather not buy .

Love Steins Gate and Soma

shinoff2183371d ago (Edited 371d ago )

FRom what i could find. Nothing with English subs.

Yui_Suzumiya370d ago

I own a physical copy on Switch and it does have English subtitles so it's all good on Switch and Playstation.

Yui_Suzumiya370d ago (Edited 370d ago )

My bad. Steam and Switch have English but PS4 and Vita only have Japanese. Sony doesn't mess with many visual novels which is why I only own a Switch OLED and laptop for all my games.

Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.

MadLad639d ago

Lol

All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.

Venoxn4g639d ago (Edited 639d ago )

XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games

gurp39d ago

I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games
