Fan Dubs Yakuza Kiwami With Official English Track

SEGA’s Yakuza series just got a new entry in Japan with Ryu ga Gotoku Kiwami, a remake of the original Yakuza title on the PlayStation 2. While a localization has yet to be announced by SEGA of America, one fan has set out to dub the game in English on YouTube.

Gotta love the dedication of Yakuza's fanbase.

CaptainCamper3033d ago

Shame the developers don't always show the same level of dedication :D

WildArmed3032d ago

Yakuza games have very dedicated devs, each game has only gotten better and has had more content.

Now if the publisher don't choose to dub the game, that's not the developers fault.

The developers have a dedicated fanbase only because they make their games with utmost care.

This is happening because prospective customers have been let down. It might even lead to a loss of sales.

Sega should have made an announcement by now about whether or not they are making their own version for the West. If they are not then they should add English subtitles and release it as a digital download.

Come on Sega, tell us!

Red Dead 2 ? Who would ever want to play that slow ass bloated overly long game twice ! Not to mention going through those awfully designed main missions.

Storm23408d ago

Agreed. I couldn't even finish it the first time.

DankSinatra408d ago

I mean, I did. I enjoyed every bit of the 3 times I played through it. Just because you didn’t enjoy it doesn’t mean others won’t. Not every game is for everyone.

Demetrius408d ago

Ikr I thoroughly enjoyed red dead 2 one of the best open world games

Levii_92408d ago

But the first game is one of my favourite games ever.. i have no idea what happend with the second game but Rockstar needs to change it’s game design, especially how those main missions are designed. It’s severly outdated. Oh and actually make the gameplay enjoyable and not so slow and clunky.

Believe me, I recently replayed the first one and it’s worse in both structure and game design. Don’t let nostalgia misplace that. RDR 2 is definitely an improvement but it’s rockstar in general that needs to open up their handholding on missions.

I got almost 700 hrs in that game. so, here is at least one person.

Some games have good incentives for multiple playthroughs but you can never beat experiencing it for the first time. Caelid for the first time? Mindblowing. Second time around it's just Caelid again.

Bioshock, Skyrim, and Darkest Dungeon for me
