Just Cause 3 should be bad. It is samey, the story, characters and writing and almost uniformly dreadful, it has despicable loading times and occasional graphical foibles. However despite this, in many ways it is the summation of what a great video-game should be, i.e. fun.
Some games make up for a lackluster story with excellent gameplay. These are some games with average storylines but great gameplay.
Who decides if a games story is average idefinitely ain't listening to no reviewers. I don't agree with most of then anyway. I think alot of them are to harsh on games so they can get clicks
The pinnacle of bad story but great gameplay is Destiny and Destiny 2. What is the Traveler? What is the Darkness? What the heck is happening? No one knew. But shooting the aliens and robots felt so good.
This week in gaming deals we have Mass Effect Legendary Edition the cheapest it's been so far, along with great deals on other games
Overpowered guns can often ruin the balance of a game but they can also be a ton of fun. Unless you're on the receiving end, of course.
I still need to play it, just waiting for a price drop.
I bought it at launch, haven't finished it yet. Just Cause 2 was my favorite game of PS3, I just don't like Just Cause 3's map as much as I liked Just Cause 2. Everything else is obviously an upgrade, but I'm not a fan at all of the new setting.
This was my first Just Cause game and I'm having a pretty good time with it. If The Expendables had a video game, this would be it. After I got the controls down pat traveling has been easier. The grapple launch to parachute/wingsuit flight has been a great help.
Liberating the towns have probably been my favorite part. Question though. When you liberate say 9/9 areas in an section, does this activate something on the map to make all the radios/dig sights/candles show up as question marks? Just wondering, seems like last night when I did so in two areas, where I liberated all the areas, they all showed up.
