Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back is an untraditionally traditional experience that improved upon the meager successes of its maiden title.
Brendan O’Brien, the voice actor behind the original Crash Bandicoot and several other characters featured in the classic Naughty Dog trilogy of games on PlayStation, died on March 23.
'Despite developer Naughty Dog having 13 months development time with a mere 14 employees, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back was a tremendous upgrade. There’s no denying the first game’s spot in the original trilogy’s hierarchy – the very bottom – but Crash 2 is often ranked lower than its 1998 successor, Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. This should not stand, for Crash 2 is the tragically early peak of the PlayStation’s trilogy of best-selling platformers.'
A recent trend on Twitter has got us thinking about the video games that define us here at CoG. What better way to get to know some of us here at CoG than through video games!
I still have my crash trilogy on PS1.. Such a waste of an IP to let sit around in limbo..
This was one of the first games I beat start to finish.
This is the best crash game. I still play this game today. Oh the memories.
