I’ve watched a Super Mario Maker player by the name of ReflectivistFox play through a stage called Fermat’s Last Theorem twice now. It takes nearly eight minutes, involves an unthinkable number of perfectly calculated moves and jumps, and I can’t fathom the patience it took for ReflectivistFox to figure it out.
The level’s author, Mr_Enzyme, is the one who actually pointed it out to me.
“It’s the hardest puzzle I’ve seen in the game so far,” he said, “and I didn’t think anyone would beat it for a lot longer, but I underestimated the internet.”
Super Mario Maker's last level has been beaten, after Trimming the Herbs was revealed to be totally bogus.
Super Mario Maker has been a great series for Nintendo, but it is time to move on. How about a Metroid Maker? That would be interesting! Check out Jason Capo’s thoughts for more.
I'd go either for Metroid Maker a Zelda Maker would also be great even a Mario Kart Maker as well.
Nintendo has announced that as of Jan. 12, 2021, the original Super Mario Maker game for the Wii U will not be available for purchase on the eShop.
I mean there is a sequel available. My guess is Nintendo will want you to move towards a more current version.
All very well but I wish I could read about people who just wanted to make a well crafted level like Miyamoto. He came up with deceptively simple ideas that made the series so relaxingly replayable. People seem to think the best way to impress is to create Super Meat Boy difficulty in Mario.
Super Mario Maker is a real game for gamers.
