Guess who's 20th anniversary is coming up this year?

Guess who's 25th anniversary is coming up this year? https://media.giphy.com/med...

And I'm pretty sure a Shenmue HD Collection is a no-brainer at this point, considering Shenmue III is due in late 2017, and the best time to release one would be this year, if not early next year.

Wondering if a Crash reboot will come before an HD remake. Sonic could certainly use some love and at this point I'd rather the originals remade than have to endure another new tinew in the series.
And i totally agree. Shenmue is likely to get an HD collection with 3 coming so soon, the question is when.

Relientk773030d ago

Would kill for Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, and Medievil remakes

I would add Legend of Dragoon, Brave Fencer Musashi, and Tenchu, to the list

Milkandcookies3030d ago

Great suggestions. There are a lot of great classics lost in time. Hopefully the best get their due respect

Germany73030d ago

Great list, i would like also Legend of Dragoon, Kotor 1 and 2, some Gamecube games like Super Mario Sunshine and Star Fox Adventures.

Milkandcookies3030d ago

There are so many Nintendo classics I missed back in the day and I'd love to get the chance to play them in HD today. Great suggestions by the way

Eidolon3030d ago

Great list! I would also be happy if they could at least emulate with trophies+ graphical improvements on PS3/Vita(Obviously only the PS1 titles)/PS4

Milkandcookies3030d ago

Thanks. I'd be happy with that, even if it still sounds like a lot of work to pull off in volume. There are some games that could use a bit more attention and a bringing up to standard, to help give them a breath of life.

itsjustexuma3030d ago (Edited 3030d ago )

Shenmue 1 and 2 are a given
Sonic will also be released for its 25th anniversary
Crash Bandicoot will be announced during E3 2016

Milkandcookies3030d ago

Hoping the Crash reboot will be passionately made. Would love to see Crash make a comeback.

DigitalRaptor3029d ago

It's also Crash's 20th anniversary this year.

All those teases since PS4's debut were leading up to an E3 announcement.

Fingers crossed for a glorious resurrection of this awesome furry bastard.

Oh great, now we have to deal with Anasts Bethesda fetish indefinitely.

Thanks a lot, Todd

You're welcome for the free entertainment. Usually, it comes at a cost of $70 because of inflation.

Crows901d 11h ago

That's an inflated price...

@Crows

It would be if it weren't a valuable resource.

mastershredder1d 12h ago

"with no plans to retire anytime soon" I mean this is like a common news topic involving his name. Knock it off and do some actual newsing. This is like the biggest "No Duh" article of the day, and several sites had to regurgitate it. Geez. So lame.

This is when he'll retire.

He doesn't have to retire, just the stupid outdated garbage creation engine.

Netimmerse 4.0, presumably 5.0 for TES6. They should give the Fallout IP to Obsidian, and have it made in UE5.

Embracer CEO demonstrates a masterclass in mental gymnastics in latest interview.
