I never thought the Waterworld movie was that bad. The game though...

Summons753038d ago

Yeah, this is the first time I've heard anyone say that Waterworld was anything below OKAY of a movie.

Bahamut3038d ago

Yeah I watched it many times growing up, thought it was a pretty good movie (nothing amazing, nothing bad) but then I got a little older and I started hearing from people that it was horrible. Critics hated it. I personally don't get the hate.

This is just like few ppl hating Episode 1,2 and 3 of Star Wars. I really don't get the hate. And i liked Waterwold too.

I've always liked Waterworld. Don't really care if other people think it's a bad movie.

I think it's because it cost so much to make and didn't really do well when released. So, sales didn't meet expectations of a Costner flick. Personally, I enjoyed it for what it was. Not epic or world altering...but definitely not the worst movie ever (or even at that time!).

Never even heard of the movie. Might have to check it out.

Muigi3038d ago

Yea I thought the movie was OKAY nothing more or less. That game was fucking terrible lol.

DarkOcelet3038d ago

Kevin Costner movies got some seriously weird hate. I thought Waterworld was amazing.

The same can be said about The Postman, amazing film, but extremely hated.

rhap3038d ago

I loved it when I was young and first watched it and after watching it again recently it was awesome to relate what happened to the Earth in the movie to what could happen in the future.

First time I hear someone saying it's bad.
