Someone Is Making Mirror's Edge In Dying Light

I just stumbled across Elimina’s work-in-progress recreation of Mirror’s Edge in Dying Light, and it looks pretty damn spot-on so far.

I feel DL's parkour went beyond what ME achieved, so in a ways it's backwards to recreate ME in DL ;)

i'm not sure about that. there's no real sense of parkour in DL. It's very basic while in ME you could wall run, you'd roll when landing from a high jump etc. It just appeared more in-depth.

I don't really know about the total number of different moves, but the feeling and uses of parkour (esp. in commbat) are much better for me in DL. And it's parkour in an open world, mind you.

Just for the record, you can roll when landing in DL, too.

well maybe that's because DL came out 7 years after ME.

That just makes sense. Ever since I first saw Dying Light, I was like this is Mirrors Edge with zombies
